December 24th

On the twenty Fourth of December,

The town was running rampit.

Parents running all around,

Getting Christmas turkeys from the store.

With five large loafs in their trolly,

because the shops are closed for a day.

Getting all the Christmas booze,

We will all have a drink or two.

Buying bows and ribbons galore,

Cause you ran out and you need some more.

Santa prep it must be done,

Grab the cookies, Grab the milk

Don't forget to leave the carrots outside the door.

Every body's bathed and washed,

All in their pj's hot chocolate in hand,

Adding more marshmellows and cream to their mug.

Early bed for every one,

Santa will soon be at our door.
