Chapter 3:

I lugged my suitcases to "our" room at the top of the steps and threw themdown on the floor. There were two twin beds, one on either side of the room.There was also a closet off the wall in the back corner.Best of all there were french doors, between the two beds, leading out to a balcony.I did get waht i wanted but, of course, it came with a price.

"I'll take this bed."Ryan said throwing his suitcase down on the bed to the right.

Like I care. "Ok." There was a long pause. "I get most of the closet spacethen." I smirked at him thinking he wold get mad.

"Ok." WTF! He's really hard to figure out.

After I finished packing I decided to change into apair of skinny jeans and a Hollister tank. I decided that I needed to get cleaned up. Not for Ryan... for me.

I ran brush through my hair and plasteredon some makeup. I had to say that I looked pretty dang HOT. No way would ryan say I was ugly again.

As I came out of the bathroom I ran intoRyan who was wanting in.

"Sorry." I said blushingfor God knows what.

Then a cocky smile came across his face. "Aww... you didn't have to get all cute for me." Oh,believe me, I didn't... I don't think.

"I didn't." Ihit my shoulder against his as I walked down the stairs to the kitchen.

Dinner was really quiet.No one really said much. I didn't mind though. I would rather sit in silence than sit and listen to people talk about pointless stuff.

After dinner I ent out the the balcony to look at the ocean and think. Why is mom doing this to me? What good is sending me away going to do? No good at all. If my dad were here...A tear then slid down my cheek. Ineeded to stop doing this to myself.My dad was gone. He wasn't coming back. I reached up and whipped my tears away.

"What are you crying about?" I turned quickly to see Ryan behind me.

I shook my head. "Nothing." Why do you care anyway? I then looked back out to the ocean. I could see, a little ways, down the coast, a fire and I could here the faint sound of music. I took a peek down at my cell phone.9:11. Party!!! A smile crept across my face.

"Now you're smiling. Are you PMSing or something?" Ryan was still standing there. I rolled my eyes. "No" I said with sort of a happy tone.

"Then what is it?" He asked raising an eyebrow in confusion.

"Do you want to go to a beach party?"I asked with a mischevious look in my eye.

"No. I don't think so." You're freakin' high!

"Ok. I'm going later so cover for me when I leave.

Once everyone had gone off to bed I grabbed my jacket and headed off to the balcony.

"You're really going." Ryan stated fallowing me out.

"Yup.Sure you don't want to?" I threw my jacket on.

"No thanks. Parties are't my thing." I shrugged my shoulders and headed down the railing of the balcony.

Party! Wahoo!

"Ryan!" I screamed. He groggily came out.

"Amanda?"

"Duh! Who ealse!?!" I screamed. What an idiot!

"Are you drunk?"

"No!" I started busting up laughing. "AAA!"Damnit! Why'd I have to fall.

The next thing I knew Ryanwas next to me pulling me up.

"You know... you really kind of cute." I put a finger on his bottom lip.

He pushed my hand away. "HA, I'll remind you of that. Right now we need to get you to bed." he pulled me up and flung me over his shoulder, whicj was not a good Idea cause that made medizzy and I got sick on his back. Haha, why couldn't I have done that when he hit me in the stomach?

Hecarfully sat me down on my bed. Man, He's stronger than he looks. Then I blacked out.
