When Austin opened his eyes and sucked in a deep breath, he realized he was still in the elevator with the others. He realized what just happened and he realized it was all in his imagination.

"No!" Austin screamed, trying to grab at David's hand.

He was too late, David had pressed the buttons and the doors closed. He was ready to see the bloody words on the doors but nothing was there.

"What is wrong with you?" David asked.

All of the people were staring at Austin.

"I don't know what it was, but I had a dream or whatever it would be called, that when the elevator is going to get stuck on the third floor. When we pry the doors open, the fucking hall is going to be swarming with zombies." Austin replied.

The elevator began descending.

"Get ready." he said, as the elevator changed from the number four to the number three... and than two.

The elevator stopped, a ding went off and the elevator doors opened to reaveal the lobby.

"It's okay." Amanda said, putting a hand on Austin's shoulder.

Austin jerked his shoulder to get her hand off of it and walked into the lobby. There were a few dead bodies scattered around, blood covering them. The front doors and windows had been boarded up with furniture and whatever else people could find. The others slowly walked out of the elevator, ready to attack.

"I forgot that the first floor is a utility floor." Jen said, laughing dryly.

"Which way is the restaurant?" Dayan asked.

"To the left and back." Amanda replied.

The elevators were in the center of the hotel. The restaurant was in the back left of the place. The check-in area was next to the door, the bar was on the left side, taking up half of the wall and the rest of the place was covered with plants and funriture to make it look nice.

"We'll meet you there." Amanda said, walking over to Austin who had walked over to the front doors.

"I don't know what happened." Austin mumbled, sitting down on a bloody couch.

"Come on, let's at least get to the restaurant."

"Go ahead, I'll be right there." Austin replied.

Amanda didn't say anything, she turned her back to him and began walking to the safety. A few seconds later, Austin caught up to Amanda and they began walking to the restaurant together.

When they got to the entrance, they saw the others standing out front. The doors were barracaded with chairs and tables.

"Those fucks wont let us in." Dayan said.

"Let me try," Amanda said, walking to the door. "'Hello?"

A face popped up and appeared in a little slit in the tables.

"Who are you?" the person asked.

"My name is Amanda, you are?"

"My name is Jack."

"Listen, Jack, let us in." Amanda replied.

"Sorry, I can't."

"Why not?" Amanda asked.

"I don't have the authority." Jack answered.

"Who does?" Amanda asked.

That's when moans began to occur from the stair case. All of them looked towards the staircase doors, that were blocked by furniture.

"Let us in." Austin yelled.

"I can't" Jack replied, calmly.

"Than get someone that does!" Stuart screamed in a booming voice.

Jack dissapeared and a few seconds later, another man appeared in the slit.

"Who are you?" David asked.

"My name is John."

"Listen, John. We were on one of the highest fucking floors. We made it all the way down here because we heard this is where people were coming." Amanda replied.

"I see." John answered.

"So can you please let us in?" Amanda asked.

"Hold on." John replied.

A few seconds later, the tables and chairs were being moved from the door. The door opened, being held by John, and they all ran in.

"Thank you so much." Jessica squealed, hugging John.

"Jack! Brett! Block this door again." John yelled.

Two men walked over and began stacking the stuff again as John closed the door and locked it. It was an all glass door.

John was a tall, built man. John was twenty-two. His hair was beginning to thin and turn white. His eyes were a crystal blue that shone like the ocean. Jack was short. He didn't have much of anything. He was as thin as a twig and had long, black hair that went down to his shoulders. He was seventeen. Brett was the opposite. He was tall and built. He was the captain of the football team at his high school. He was white with a buzz cut and his eyes were black. He was seventeen as well.

"Please, sit down and let us talk about this." John said, pointing to a booth.

As the group walked to the booth, Austin counted how many people were in the resaurant. Including them, there was fourteen people.

Stuart and David set Jen down on a chair they pulled up to the booth. John stood, hands intertwined, behind his back, looking at the group, sitting at the booth.

"Now, start from the beginning." John said, sternly.
