"Austin, put on the television to channel six, this is bad."  Shannon said.

Shannon was Austin's friend he has know since elementary school. She was a tall blonde.

Austin and Shannon were at Dayan and Darren's after party. They were sitting in the living room as people walked in and out every so often. Austin found the remote and turned the T.V. on, he flipped to channel six and his mouth fell open. On the T.V. was a live cover of Western High School. The title read that there has been a shooting and there is a hold up.

"I need to get Dayan." Austin said, setting down his drink and walking outside.

Dayan was holding Darren's hand and laughing at a joke some woman just told.

"Dayan?" austin asked, pushing past two men. They stared but turned and left.

"What is it, Austin?" Dayan asked, letting go of Darren's hand.

"You need to see what's on the T.V."

"As of right now, we can say that three people are dead, there are more casulties we think and that there are many wounds." a female reporter said, standing infront of a chain fence that blocked the school off from the road. In the background there were police lights flashing. The camera turned a bit and saw a bodybag being loaded into the back of an ambulance. A woman was on her knee's, tears pouring down her face.

"Oh my god, why would anyone do this?" Dayan asked. Darren had his arm around Dayan's waist.

"Bullying. Dayan, I need to go back home." Austin said, turning to face Dayan.

"I understand, go." Dayan said, walkikng towards Austin.

Everyone moved as Austin turned and walked out of the house. Shannon followed.

Amanda's phone began to ring and she pulled it out. Austin.

"It's Austin." she said, looking at Kevin who was sitting in his police car.

"Give me it." Kevin said, holding his hand out.

Amanda took it out and Kevin answered the phone.

"Austin! How are you?" he asked as he hit the speaker button.

"Western. Tell me the full story."

"What are you talking ab-"

"It's all over the news. Tell me what happened."

Kevin paused then finally spoke up.

"Two more kids. Just like what happened to us. A shooting due to bullying. One kid's name is Owen and the other is Max."

"Dear god." Austin whispered into the phone.

"I know, hey I have to go. I will keep you informed." Kevin said, hanging the phone up.

"Shit! Kevin!" Austin yelled, getting into his car.

Shannon opened the passenger door and sat down.

"Im going to Florida with you."
"Are you sure?" Austin asked. Shannon nodded. "Let's go."

Austin started the car and began driving towards the airport.

Max could see that Kevin had taken a phone and answered it.

"What are you going to do with us?" Taylor asked, her eyes red.

"Shut up, bitch." Owen snapped.

"Taylor, I think we can get out of here." Dwayne whispered.

"Shut up." Owen said, looking at them.

"How?" Taylor whispered back.

"That's insane." Kathy said.

"Look, from what I saw, they only have two rounds left. If they use them, we can try to get the cabinet away from the door and get out."

"That's suicide." Peter replied.

"I said shut the fuck up!" Owen yelled walking over.

"I have to go to the bathroom." David said, looking up.

"Use the trash in the front. Max, watch him. The trash was next to the door.

"Poop." David said, looking at Owen.

"Everyone, turn and face the wall. Go." Owen replied. David got up and slowly walked to the door as Owen turned with each stride David took.

David dropped his drawers and began to crouch on the trash. He placed his hands on the cabinet and slowly began pushing it to unblock the door. He did it so slow as to not alert Owen or Max.

"Watch him, Max." Owen said, turning back to face the others.

A few minutes later, the cabinet was far enough for someone to run past it and open the door. David got up off the trash can and lifted his pants back up. He had used pages from a math book and dropped them in the trash.

He walked back to the others.

"I got the cabinet far enough for one of the girls to run out if she is fast enough." David said, directed at Dwayne.

Dwayne slowly turned and saw the opening.

"Leah, can you run?" he asked.

"Yes. Track for three years."

"On three, you will run. David and me will distract the shooters."

"Okay." Leah replied.

"One." Dwayne said. "Two." his hands clenched into fists.

"THREE!" he screamed.
