When we got to first period a new guy came in. He had brown hair and ice blue eyes. He was atleast six feet tall. I watched him and realized he was looking at me! The only open seat was by me. He sat down and smiled at me. I smiled and turned back to the teacher. Kesha was holding back a laugh. I groaned. She wouldn't drop this for awhile now.
We had a few free minutes until the bell rang. As soon as it started he tapped me on my shoulder.
"Hi. I'm Derek."
"Hi. I'm Sasha."
"Nice to meet you. You a horse rider?"
"Yeah. Why? Are you?"
"Yep. We have six horses."
"I've got one, His name's Wildfire."
"Mines Silver Key. She's a retired race horse. Never did good but I love her anyway."
"Wow. I never got close to a thoroughbred."
"Want to meet her?"
"Sure!"
