Chapter one: Meeting Bill Kaulitz
Bill leaned up close to the mirror with a stern look on his face. Almost as if he truely believed that giving the glass a death glare would magically change his appearance in it. It wasn't like he looked bad, on the contrary he looked absolutely breathtaking. With his long jet black hair falling into a messy curtain about his face and his chocolate eyes contrasting against his pale skin even more because of the black eyeliner that surrounded each eye. Hell he looked so beautiful that even the ladies would be seething in jealousy. Yet here he was wishing that he looked entirely different. That told everyone a lot about his self-confidence.
Andreas sighed in annoyance as he leaned up against the marble countertop, "Come on Bill, he really need to get going or we're going to be more then fashionably late."
Bill rolled his eyes but didn't appear to be heeding his best friend's words. "I can't go out looking like this Andi. I mean I want to get some sort of action tonight." he grumbled as he ran his fingers through his already perfect hair.
This time it was Andi's turn to roll his eyes. It was almost funny how low Bill could put himself sometimes. Correction how low he put himself all the time. It even got to the point that Andi would just want to slap his best friend across the face to get some sense knocked into him. "Bill Bill Bill," Andi tsked as he forced Bill's worried eyes away from his reflection, "you look great. Trust me on this or if you rather not take my word for it then wait until we get to the rave. Because over there I highly doubt any of the guys will be able to tear their eyes away from you."
Bill looked like he didn't believe a word Andi said but really didn't feel like making a fuss over it either. "If that's what you think."
Suddenly before Andi could make any sort of comeback a loud car horn sounded outside their tiny little rental house. "Shit! It's time to go."
Bill looked around the house he had inhabited for the last time. For no doubt this time tomorrow he'd be on a plane heading home, while working on his first romance novel that was still in it's early stages. The novel itself was mainly the reason he was here in the first place. He wanted to get a feel of the setting in which his story was to take place, which had been the best two weeks of his life to date. Sure Bill had had to work for a small newspaper while he was here but that was hardly a challenge. Sure he didn't like writing about politics or the weather but it was valuable practice for which to improve his storytelling skills. Hell, he had learned and experienced so much that his fingers were literally itching to come into contact with his computer keys! Still that would have to wait until the plane ride tomorrow. Andreas had convinced Bill, (Which was no easy task) to go to a local rave tonight in celebration of their last night in America.
As both the boys climbed into the bright yellow taxi cab, Bill suddenly was overwelmed by how much he was going to miss this place. Even the thought of home, which to most people would be a comforting thought in itself turned Bill's heart to ice. He really didn't have much to go back to besides a broken family and drunk father. His mother had killed herself when Bill had been only two years old, and his father never really got over it. At first he tried to be a perfect father, that is until the realization that Bill looked a lot like his deceased mother made Jorg leap head first into the bottle. He never did come out of it. Not even today. Bill had always thought that it was because of his looks that drove Jorg over the edge and he wanted more then anything to look different. Hell, he would choose to be the ugliest person in the world so long as his appearence would stop hurting his father.
As the years passed and Jorg became more and more distant from his one and only son, Bill's unstability started to rear it's ugly head. Not having found affection from a dead mother or an absent father, Bill had spent most of his life raising himself. It was not until he was thirteen that he noticed there was more to life then just surviving. There was alien emotions like love and happiness, emotions that simply fascinated Bill. So he had set out to show those emotions to others, but all the time he refused to believe that love and true happiness could ever happen to him. They just didn't happen to kids who scared even their own parents away.
Bill was so caught up in his thoughts that he nearly jumped out of his skin when Andi finally decided to speak.
"Yay! We're almost there. Isn't this exciting?!" Andi exclaimed with a big dorky smile stretched across his lips. Andi was another author on the stupid paper Bill was forced to work for. While Bill had taken that job seriously (although he really didn't want to) Andi had always been the type to goof off on the job. He was just a cheerful disorganized person that lived life to the fullest. So he had been completely surprised when he had heard that Bill had never been to a party in his life. Now Andi might be super disorganized but he was a very determined individual. Which became apparent when he swore that he would take Bill out for a night on the town. Well, it was obvious that he had gotten his wish.
Bill nodded with a fake smile on his lips before turning around and facing the passing scenery once again. As they got into the city large billboard signs and flashing lights spoke of a world Bill was unfamilar with. He sighed softly to himself wishing that he was more of an outgoing person, that he would never have to go back into the world where he was unwanted, and that for the first time in his life he would fall in love and get love in return. That was only hopeful thinking on his part..... or was it?
