My Little Mary

A Meaningful Poem, And In Case You're Wondering, No This Really Isn't Me.

In my dream I saw her

That little girl so close to happiness yet so far away

She was crying in her closet

The pitter patter of rain a long distance away

He was sitting next to her

Soothing her with his words "It's Okay My Little Mary, It's Okay"

She reached out to him, but he dissappeared

The phone echoing it's chime in the empty mansion

The answering machine going on

A man crying and saying "I'm So Sorry.. My Mary"

The little girl, Mary, walking down the creaky steps one by one...

All the memories of them in the mansion coming and going

She stood strong, but hearing the message made her fall

Mary cried all day and night

But the next morning she heard a car door outside

That little girl so weak yet so strong ran to the door

She opened the door and ran outside

No one

She cried the rest of what was left of her out

Sitting in the rain

Everything dissapearing

I woke up, but then realized that girl was me Sitting on the steps with the man, the man who once called me his Little Mary

Everything was fine
