this came to me when i was walking to school at the age of 12. not sure why,it just popped in there

The wings are spread

The eagle squawks

Down to earth does she soar

Through the tears

Destroying egos

She is truth alone

For nothing she fears

The snake foresees his death within

And still stands proud

Though his end is near

Well written and presented. Imagery of a bird of prey focused upon and stalking a snake, while in flight, is quite vivid and engaging.

Happy trails,

Ed Bradley.

Your ideas of life and are so black and white in this poem. It is really good.
