Delilah grasped Shane's arms. Her breaths came in short and shallow. Though lately she didn't seem to need to breathe as much as she did when she was human. Shane hitched her leg to his hip, kissed her deeply. Delilah giggled as his lips trailed down her neck. She had always been ticklish, and that hadn't seemed to change since she'd been changed.

Shane grinned, looked up at her. "Are you enjoying yourself Delilah?" he murmured.

She bit her lip, nodded. "I'm still not embarrassed." she informed him, lifted her chin a little to prove her point.

He chuckled, kissed down to her stomach. She giggled even more. She closed her eyes, relaxing. Shane was kissing her abdomen, then the heat of his body disappeared. Delilah opened her eyes just in time to see Shane flying against the wall and see a fiery blonde woman storming toward her. Delilah sat up in surprise as the woman came towards her.

"Who are you-"

The woman grabbed her arm, her nails digging into Delilah's skin. Before she could even think to scream or fight back, Shane was grabbing the woman and throwing her against the ground.

Delilah watched with wide eyes, not knowing if she was strong enough to help fight. Then again, being human had never stopped her. She jumped up, ready to help Shane. But he already had the woman pinned down.

"Clara." he growled. "I told you not to come back."

The woman glared at him. "I did not want to return. You know I have no reason to come back. Not until you interfered with something of mine." Shane groaned. "You don't seemed surprised about the news. If you knew she was my-"
"She's mine, Clara." he snapped. "You have no right to come here."

"I won't let you take my child from me!" she screamed. "Delilah is my daughter. I have rights."

"You gave up those rights when you gave her away eighteen years ago."

"Shane." Delilah whispered. "What is she talking about?"

Shane sighed. "This is your mother Delilah. Your biological mother."

She blinked, sat down on the bed. "My parents never told me I was adopted. I didn't know..." She couldn't believe this. Right as she and Shane were about to sleep together, her biological mother, that she didn't even know about, shows up. Claiming her no less.

"You need to go." Delilah said. "I don't want you here. You have absolutely no right to come here. Leave me alone. I've had enough of this stuff I didn't know about coming around to bite me in the ass. Next thing I know my twin will show up. Just go away."

"You don't mean that." Clara replied, her face showing a hurt expression.

"The hell I don't. Get your ass out of here. I don't want you here."

"I could kill her." Shane told her. "I promised her I would if she came back."

"Is she dangerous?" Delilah asked.

"She could be. She's persistent. I doubt she'll leave this issue alone. And I know she plans on killing Charles and myself. Though Charles is her match. Isn't that right Clara?"

Clara only glared.

"She's Charles' innocence?" Delilah asked. "Huh, this just gets better and better. Now I really want her dead. The only person who's going to kill Charles is me."

Clara looked at Delilah, grinned. "He's a pain in the ass isn't he?"

Delilah returned her smile with a glare. "Yes. A very big pain in the ass. But so are you. Kill her Shane, she's a problem."

"Delilah!" The woman screamed. "I'm your mother! You can't let me die!"

She shrugged. "Why not? I don't know you, and so far I don't like you. Not to mention, when Charles finds out it will bring him to me. I'm not seeing a lot of downsides to having you dead."

"I'm your blood Delilah. You're going to simply finish me off without a second thought?"

"Why not?" she replied. "Just because you gave birth to me doesn't mean I should like you, or care if you live. It's up to you Shane. I belong to you, and you seem to like making my desicions for me. Kill her if you want, I only see upsides to this."

"Alexander will find you, Shane. He'll kill you and Delilah if you kill me."

"Alexander? Dammit Shane how many of you are there?" Delilah groaned.

"Too many." he sighed. "But we cannot risk threatening Alexander, Delilah. Not only is he a good friend of mine, but he is very powerful and deadly. We can't kill her."

Delilah narrowed her eyes at Clara. "Can we torture her? I don't want her coming back here. I will never go with you Clara. Bring up this issue again and you and your precious Alexander will be killed."
"You couldn't even begin to-"

"I have the school on my side though don't I Clara? I doubt you and this Alexander can fight off a few hundred of us."

"Alexander has many faithful friends. You're new to this Delilah, do not speak of what you don't know." Clara warned.

"Same goes for you, Clara. You lay a finger on my Shane and you're as good as dead. I swear it on my own blood."

Clara bared her teeth. "Fine. If that's the the way you want it Delilah."

Shane stood, let her go. "You heard her Clara. Delilah seems to be even more visious than you are. Now if you'll excuse us Clara, we were in the middle of something." He turned to Delilah, seeming unafraid to turn his back on Clara. He kissed Delilah, pulled her close. Delilah rolled her eyes when she saw Clara watching with rage. "This isn't open for viewing Clara. Get the hell out of here before I change my mind about letting you live." she growled.

Clara disappeared, and Delilah let out a sigh of relief. "We're screwed." she murmured.

Shane chuckled. "Not yet." He led her to the bed, and Delilah caught onto the double meaning.

She bit her lip. "Shane, I do have parents you know." she commented as his lips trailed down her neck.

"I know." he mumbled.

"Don't you think we should wait until we're married? That's what they would want."

"All parents want that." Shane replied.

"I would want that if it were our child, Shane. I thinks it's only fair if we're married before we sleep together."

Shane pulled back, glaring. "Delilah, you surely can drive a man crazy."

She grinned. "Just trying to do the right thing Shane."

"How will it look if you marry your Dean?" he reminded.

She shrugged. "I suppose we'll just have to wait until I graduate."

Shane gritted his teeth. "Four years, Delilah?"

"Will four years really kill you?" she asked.

"No, but I will kill you. I am not waiting four years."

"Well, we could get married in secret, then have a big wedding after I graduate. I can't get pregnant can I?"

"Only once every three years." he replied.

"Will I be able to get pregnant this year?"

"Delilah," he breathed. "Please don't do this to me."

"Can we just get married? It can be in secret, or we can let the whole world know. I just want to be married."

"You are lucky I love you Delilah. Alright, Married." He rolled over onto his back. "Tomorrow."

I bit my lip, but decided not to argue. "Alright, tomorrow. Agreed."
