Once in a Blue Moon
Chapter One Packing
“Um, Mum. Remind me again why we MUST move to Florida?”
“Because! I finally met someone, and he’s willing to let us move in! Remember Keith?” Laura said, happily packing away her clothes.
“Ooh. Keith. BUT WHAT ABOUT CAITY AND KAYLEE AND ANNE AND MICHAELA?!” I whined, pouting and hung my head down in depression.
“They can visit once a year! For your birthday. Now help me pack, you’ve done it more than I have anyways.”
“Ooh hush. I didn’t like it the first... The first 3 or so times, and I don’t like it now! Besides, doing it so many times doesn’t mean I’m good at it Mum...” I say, while packing many many items in a 4 ft.2 box.
“Bull.” She says, throwing another box at me, hitting me square in the soft spot of my back. I yelped and then packed that box as well. Miserably, I may add. I knew from the look in her eyes that this was going to be forever. This was going to be a LONG freshman year.
