The bell for the end of break rang and Lonica still hadn’t returned. That didn’t matter since we had Art with Miss Volley anyway and then Music.

Lonica was stood outside the art room, apparently no one was inside. Rose looked away. “Is it locked?”
I did a simple spell and the door was unlocked, then I did another spell and a teacher told us to go in so we did.

Lonica, Rose and I sat down in our seats. After a while the rest of our form came in, including Delilah who as she came in gave Lonica the evils and sat down at the other side of the room.

The lesson began as Miss Volley walked in and was a bit shocked to see us all sat down, ready to learn, but nevertheless started the lesson. Out of the corner of my eye I saw a paintbrush start to rise into the air, and head towards us, Delilah’s look of concentration on it seemed to make me think it was her that was doing it. Rose put up her hand to answer a question and the paintbrush dropped into it, making her and Miss Volley a bit shocked, but that wasn’t the end. A can of blue paint flew up into the air, with 29 pairs of eyes on it and headed itself to the sink, and began to tip until blue paint was falling out down the sink. It kept going until there was no paint left and then it dropped to the floor.  Several girls fainted and one girl ran over to the empty paint tin and stared at it. Then, every paintbrush in the room flew into the air, and hit the ceiling then headed for Lonica and me. They got 1 cm away from us then fell to our desk spelling out, I WILL GET YOU HEXO. “Hannie, who’s Hexo?” I realised that for the first time Rose had used my preferred name.
