The Story of Us
I sprinted to the bathroom, just barely making it to the toilet, heaving up my breakfast.
“Okay Nancy, I’ll send her over in about 30. Thanks bye.” My mother said into her cell phone. She then walked into the bathroom, and crouched down next to me. “Oh honey you look absolutely miserable.” My mother said looking at me.
“Why were you talking to Mrs. Saunders?” I mumbled pushing myself up off the floor, my leg wobbling underneath me. “Apparently Caleb’s sick too. She said since she is off work today, she’ll take care of you too.” My mom replied, shrugging her shoulders.
I found myself stumbling to the Saunders’s house. I walked in, to be greeted by Mrs. Saunders. She helped me up the stairs, and lead me to Caleb’s room.
“I’ll bring you both some hot tea in a few. Amanda make yourself at home.”
Me and Caleb stared at each other for a few seconds. “You look like completeoshit.” I said smirking.
“Well you don’t look like Selena Gomez.” He spat back, a playful grin plastered on his face. I walked over to his bed, and laid down next to him.
“The first thing my mom asked me when she found me puking was if I was pregnant.” I looked over at Caleb.
“Mine to.”He replied keeping a straight face. We both clutched our stomachs laughing, tears streamed down my face, and we both were gasping for air.
So what are we going to do all day, stuck in your room sick?”
“Die Fool!” I yelled as I played Grand Theft Auto on Caleb’s Playstation.
“How the hell did you get four stars!” Caleb exclaimed sitting down next to me.
“Oh just started a shooting, killed a cop, stole the cop car to get away, and then ran over another half dozen cops.” I replied casually.
“Noo!” I screamed as my car exploded. I threw the remote on the ground. “I hate Grand Theft Auto.” I frowned walking away from the TV throwing myself on his bed. “Sure you do.” Caleb replied laughing.
“Shut up!” I yelled tossing a pillow at him. “Someone’s feisty.” He said tossing the pillow back at me. I caught it in my hands. “I’m tired. I think I’m going to take a nap.” I told Caleb pulling his sheets over my body.
“I think I will too.” Caleb yawned, laying in next to me. I felt my eyes grow heavy as I slowly drifted off.
Light assaulted my eyes. Picked up my head, and looked around. The first thing I noticed were the strong arms wrapped around me, and my legs were entertained with someone else’s.
I quickly realized that the arms belonged to Caleb. He was still sound asleep. I sweeped the hair out of his eyes, readjusted myself in his arms, and fell asleep once more.
