The Story Of Us

I jumped in my seat, as Caleb violently honked his car horn, swearing under his breath, as a car swerved into his parking spot.

“Fucking seniors, thinking they own the whole damn school parking lot.” Caleb muttered trying to find a new spot.

“You have some serious road rage, Caleb.” I half smiled as we finally found a spot. His eyes shot me daggers, while he pulled the keys out of the ignition, and jammed them into his pocket.

“He’s also not a morning person.” Sky smirked. “Shut the fuck up!” Caleb barked making us both jump. Caleb slammed the car door, and stormed into the school.

“What his problem?” I mumbled to Sky as we headed to the cafeteria.

“Caleb and Hallie got into some huge argument over the phone last night. I have no clue what it was about, but it kept me up all night.” Sky sighed shrugging her shoulders.

The day went by in a flash, a before I knew it, I was headed towards my last period.

I sauntered into my class, to find a rose on my desk. I smelled the rose, taking in its sweet scent, and then tugged on the note, causing it to fall to the ground.

As I picked it up, and read the words displayed on it, I felt my eyes widen.

“Meet me on the fifty yard line on the football field right after school. –Max”

“Ms.Miller will you please take you seat, I am trying to start class.” My teacher sneered, causing the entire class to stare at me, and a blush to rise on my cheeks, as I shuffled into my seat.

The whole lesson was a blur. The only thing I could focus on was the little red rose, settled on the edge of my desk.

As soon as the last bell rang, I sprang out of my desk, going as fast as my feet could take me to the football field.

I tightened my hair in my pony tail, as I spotted Max standing on the fifty yard line, back faced to me.

I walked up as silently as possible, hoping I could sneak up on him. As soon as I got five feet away, he spun around on his heel, holding a dozen roses.

I felt my jaw drop to the floor. “Will you be my girlfriend, Amanda?” Max smiled, holding the roses out to me. All I could do was blink at him, and hear my heart thudding in my ears.

Max’s smile slowly wilted, and his shoulder slumped. “If you don’t want to be my girlfriend I understand. Its okay.” Max frowned, rocking back and forth on his heels.

“Of course I want to be your girlfriend!” I practically shouted.

I jumped into his arms, squishing the roses. He swung me around, before planting a kiss on my lips, both of us with mile wide smiles.

Started school again on the 7th. Sucked for me. Also if you have a wattpad it would mean a lot to me if you fanned me(: -Dayna
