Thunder Boomed over us. We were walking through a rainstorm and Lightning smashed into the ground before us.
"Aha!" Shiloh cried, She fell to the ground in panic.
"Are you okay?" I asked.
"No! I could of gotten struck by lightning!" She screamed at me. That thought brought a little chuckle into my voice when I said,
"Well you didn't! Now let me help you up and get going!" I pulled her up and we headed on down the road. When we reached my house we walked up the creaky stairs to my bedroom and started packing for the move. My mom had given us the news about moving to Michigan a few weeks ago. We were upset because we would miss our friends but it would be nice to get out of this drought state called Texas. It got boring up here and we couldn't wait till we crossed the borderline and headed for Michigan.
"Sarah! Shiloh! Come on! We're leaving!" That was mom. We rushed down the stairs and out of the house. We got to the car and threw our bags in the trunk. We hopped into The car and waited for mom, dad was already headed to Michigan so he was maybe 45 miles away. So we had to get going. Finally, mom came out of the house and started the car. I waved good-bye to the house as we slowley pulled out of our driveway. A tear Glistened on my cheek as I realized how much I was going to miss this place.
