After 4 hours of travel, we finally pulled into the drive way of our "New House" as my parents called it.  Honestly, it looked a thousand years old and I couldn't understand why my parents chose this "thing" out of all the other beautiful, exotic places here in Michigan. I slowly got out of the car and grabbed my things out of the trunk. As  walked up the creaky, unsteady stairs I realized this place was pitch black. I entered the "dark house". I ran my hands along the walls until my hand ran acrossed a lump, a light switch, I flipped it on and realized that this house was an extremely dirty place.

"Eh! I can't believe we live here!" Said Shiloh as she entered the house.

"I know, why did they choose this? I replied. I looked around the kitchen and saw the brown, or I think it was brown, staircase and I looked up and saw 3 doors at the top. Bedrooms, I thought. I turned and headed up th stairs to find my room. I opened the first door and saw another set of stairs that went spiraling up to the top of the house.

"Sarah! Shiloh! Get down here!" Called dad. Shiloh and I raced down the stairs. We met mom and dad at the end of the stairs.

"Do you guys like this place?" mom asked.

"Not really." replied Shiloh.

"It's definetley not what I expected." I replied.

"Well, I guess go find your rooms." said mom. Shiloh stomped up the stairs. Before I said anything, I made sure Shiloh was out of earshot.

"Mom, what leads up those stairs in the first room?" I asked.

"Oh, thats the attic. There is a room up there if you want to stay in it." she replied.

"Sweet! Thanks mom!" I walked up the stairs and opened the door to the attic and headed up this stairs and closed the door behind me. I reached the top of the stairs and peered inside the door.  On the far side of the room there was a circle window and there was a great view!

"I can't believe I get to sleep here!" I said. I grabbed my things and started unpacking so I could go to bed and get ready for the new school.
