“She made her choice.” My mommy said to me as she looked at me, okay so she wasn’t much of my mommy anymore more like my mom after all I was now fourteen years old. Yes I know it’s been a very long time and you may be wondering what the hell happened to those eight years. I’ll tell you what happened.
After Valerie left my mommy left to but she left everything and everyone, except me. I was the only one who went with her and we traveled it didn’t matter where we went we traveled at the time, and I was being taught online, how my mommy managed that I have no clue but I was taught online and I was suffering through homeschool.
I had no clue why Valerie left I mean we had my mommy there like we planned but she left she ruined it all for us. We could have been a happy family but instead we were all destroyed. Kim was left behind and that’s great because my mommy found out that she was sleeping around and then Nana got sick and decides to stay with her family. We were all alone.
I haven’t seen or heard from Valerie and neither had my mom and I know because I’ve heard her call some contacts trying to locate Valerie but it didn’t happen. It was almost as if Valerie had been wiped of the face of the earth.
“But mom why can’t you, I don’t know forgive her or something.” I said trying to convince my mom about a girlfriend that she was dating but now broke up with.
Yea, I know wasn’t I all for Valerie…I was until she left us so now I’m just trying to find my mom someone to date. However sadly my mom seemed to be having trouble committing to someone and always made the girls run away for something.
“Because I just cant, now yare you packed?” My mom asked as we headed to the kitchen.
“Yea.” I said sadly because another thing my mom has been doing is moving because she brakes up with a girl.
“Good we are leaving tomorrow in the morning.” My mommy said.
“I went to my room and just flopped on my bed and laid there all alone and mad. I was just falling asleep when my phone rang so I answered.
“Hey, what are you doing?” Marsha asked me through the phone.
“Nothing arguing with my mom, and you?”
“Nothing just got back from school.”
“How did it go?”
“It went well.” Marsha said. I listened and I could barely hear her cat purring.
“Is Mr. Spot there?” I asked indicating her cat.
“Yea, say hi Mr. Spot.” Marsha said but I could here that he made that noise when cats are angry and next thing I know I heard Marsha saying “ow”.
“Yea, he just didn’t want to be held.”
“So how’s your mom?”
“Mom’s good she met a girl and they are on a date, what about your mom?”
“Sounds nice, and my mom just broke up and again we are moving.”
“Yup, sucks to be me.”
“Not really I wish I could travel.”
“No you don’t I mean it actually feels like I have no friends at all.” I said as I sighed.
“Yea but you have me.” Marsha said slowly making me smile widely.
“Yea I do don’t I?”
“Yup, hey have you seen the news?”
“There were some news in Italy about some gays and stuff like that, and I don’t know if I’m correct but I’m pretty sure I saw Valerie.”
“What, are you for real?”
“Because that’s where I’m moving tomorrow.”
“Yea, wait what part of Italy?”
“I don’t know but let me cheek.”
“Okay.” I said and waited.
“Okay, here we go, it was in Tusculum.”
“Oh okay cause I’m moving to Rome.”
“So you’re good to go.”
“I still wish I could go.”
“Hey you know what I was thinking about?”
“If Valerie hadn’t had left then my mom would have fallen in love with her and it would have been a big triangle.”
“I mean your mom would have loved Valerie, and my mom would have loved Valerie.”
“Yea, but who would Valerie have loved?
“Honestly I think your mom.” Marsha said through the phone.
“I don’t know but Valerie loved your mom.”
“Then why did she leave?”
“I don’t know Tim, you know just because I’m a girl doesn’t mean I know this stuff.”
“So what if you find Valerie again?”
“I don’t know, I think I would be sad because she betrayed me.” I said as I closed my eyes and thought of how much hurt Valerie had brought to me when she left my mommy.
“Yea, I think I would be too.”
“What do you think our parents would say if they found out we were talking?”
“I don’t know.”
“Oh, well I have to go I’ll talk to you later Marsha.”
“Okay, bye Tim.”
“Bye.” I said and hung up the phone thinking about what I was going to do in Italy. I must have dozed off because next thing I knew my mom was waking me up. I stood up and showered quickly before getting my bags and headed to Italy.
It was a very boring trip and by the time we got there I was sleepy again. We got a house and we rested, but tomorrow we were going to go exploring and then we were going to have dinner, which I hope was pizza.
