Chapter 12: Spring Is In The Air
()
The meadow was a beautiful place, holding different plants and flowers. The flowers of all kinds were now blooming.
"Good morning, Leaf." Gem meowed, trying to erase the she-cat's mind. The idea of her dealing with something so. . .Well something that could involves a death wish. "Go away." Leaf didn't know who she was telling that to. She wasn't looking up, or in Gem's case down. Gem was trying to sooth her since she heard the story about Mosstalon from
()
Hawk. Leaf was staring at
The flowers as if she would go blind if she didn't. "Silver made me a Trainee." Meowed Gem. Leaf didn't seem to care. "It's not normal for you to act like this? I may be new and you can call me a stalker all you want, but I've been watching the way
()
You've been acting. It's Spring now and every one needs to let the past go. Trust me, I have a very bad past too." Gem meowed. Gem soon began to get angry when Leaf moved away from her. "Really?" Gem asked. "Can't you just stop being an annoying pest and stay out of other cat's business!" Leaf snapped. "Come on, Leaf!" Gem begged. leaf stood up and gave Gem
()
a death stare. "Just!. . .Leave me alone. . ." Her tone of voice changed from angry to depressed. It almost made Gem angry to see her wear the depressed coat. In all honesty, there was nothing to be mad about. What was making her more angry. Mosstalon or her. It was her fault after all. "Stupid Nightmare diamond!" Gem hissed at herself before padded the other way.

"Silver..." Luna tried to take in the silver and shiny pelt of Silver. The leader had taken a bath. "I'm happy to see you actually have time to bathe." Meowed Fox as she padded past him. Silver replied with a smile. Luna felt her eyes lost in the tom's shiny pelt. Maybe it was his patted pelt that always made
()
him look so old. When ever he cleaned it he looked allot younger. "Good morning Luna." His voice sang. Silver stopped in front of her. Luna didn't notice he was talking to her since she was staring deeply at the silver pelt. "Uh. . .Luna?" Silver called when he realized she wasn't listening to him. Luna shook her head and blinded twice before looking into his blue eyes.
()
Luna nodded. "Good morning- She paused. "What's wrong?" Silver asked. Luna was upset about yesterday still, Silver guessed. He had promised yet again to have a 'talk' with her, but never got around to it. He sighed and padded over to a tree to sit
in the shade. Luna joined him once she realized that the sigh was a sign he wanted to have a talk with her before any annoying cat ruins it. Luna laid on her belly, next to Silver. "I heard something interesting a few days ago." He meowed, not
even looking at her. he was staring at something beyond the mountain. . .or maybe beyond this world.
()
"Like what?" Luna asked. "Let's just say a little birdy told me a certain cat has feelings for me." Meowed Silver. Luna's eyes grew wide. "This birdy wouldn't happen to be gray with leafy eyes would it?" Luna asked. "Maybe. . .Butt she didn't tell
me who liked me or rather she said they loved me." He was lying about not knowing who the cat was. Luna let out a sigh of relief. "Well. . .It could be Gem?" Meowed Luna. "No. . .This bridy said her name started with an L and ended with an A. You
wouldn't happen to know who that is?" Silver asked. "Uh? Why do you want to know?" Luna asked. "I don't know." He replied.
()
"would you love this cat back?" Asked Luna. Silver looked at her. "Hmmm. . .That depends." He meowed. "Depends?" Luna asked, all confused and little mad. "Yes. . .Does this L-U-N-A love me back?" He asked. Luna hadn't realized he spelled her name out
()
her name. "I'm sure she does and i wish you the best of luck." Luna felt hurt. He had feelings for a cat named L-U-N-A. "Wait! did you just say L-U-N-A?" Luna asked. Silver stood up and let the wind blaze through his fresh clean pelt. "You just
realized I spelled out Luna? You are very clueless." His voice sounded mean. Silver stood up and Luna jumped up. "Hey! I'm
not-" Luna stopped when Silver's face turned cool. "Do you love me not?" He asked, harshly. "I love you, yes, but-" Luna stopped when Silver moved closer to her to where his muzzle was near her ear. "I love you as well. Don't forget that." He
()
whispered before padded away and down the mountain path, leaving Luna wide-eyed.

Blaze yawned and stood up. Her fellow knight friends, Ruby and Robin were fighting again. "Usually I don't butt in, but all of you are still little kittens in my eyes and I feel the need to kill you both if you don't knock it off and leave me to sleep in peace!" hissed Storm, Blaze's other Knight Friend or she could be called a Friend-enemy.
"Do you believe this cat! He wont eat that thing!" hissed Ruby. Blaze frowned. She knew Robin wasn't a meat eater.
Robin held a small Mouse in his mouth, still a live, but barley. "What happen to Snowflake?" Blaze asked. Robin wasn't a type of cat to kill animals even for food. The only thing he ate was berries and somehow he managed to survive on just that.
()
He caught a mouse a while back and kept it as a pet. He named her Snowflake. Snowflake never bothered to run away. She knew somehow she was safe with Robin. "That stupid cat scared her!" Hissed Robin. "Is she okay?" Blaze asked. "She is still breathing." Meowed Robin as he laid her down on the ground. "Ruby, you should be more careful. You know how much Robin cares
()
for that mouse." blaze reminded him. "I'm surprised no one hasn't eaten him yet!" Ruby hissed. "No one is going to eat my friend!" Hissed Robin. Ruby rolled his eyes and took a seat near Storm.
Blaze shook her head. "You might have to keep a close eye on Snowflake if you want to keep her alive." Meowed Blaze. "Thanks Blaze. I'll try." Robin meowed before laying down next to his pet mouse.

"Sky?" Angel closed her eyes, trying to remember her mate's form. "I know that you want me to fulfill what you couldn't, but how will I do this without you?" Angel open her eyes to see her kittens play fighting with one another.
()
"Sis!" Hissed Little Sky, he through his little sister off of him before pouncing on her.. "Sky!" She hissed, knocking him off her. Angel felt angry knowing that Silver made that Gem cat Trainee and didn't bother to make her kittens knights. "Does
he think I'm stupid enough not to notice he is just brushing my kittens aside!" Angel hissed.
()
Snow crouched down while Little Sky crawled over to her. When her son got closer to her daughter, he slowly jumped at her, but Snow jumped as well, sending them both backwards. Angel couldn't help, but smile at her prefect little bundles of joy.
"They are prefect Sky." She meowed.

"What's wrong, Hawk?"
Hawk's eye sight was a blur until she heard Raven's voice. "Uh. . .I must be dozing off again." Meowed Hawk. She spent all night watching Anzu's movements. She wanted him to get better. She tried Herbs and berries, Seeds and many more, but he didn't get any better. "Then why don't you rest your eyes. You will died of exhaustion if you don't." meowed Raven.
()
"How do you know that?" Hawk was starting to misjudge him. He was very smart and funny too. "My mother died that way." Meowed Raven. Hawk frowned. "I never new my mother and father. . .Well I remember my father being a very strong River clan night and
my mother being a house cat." Meowed Hawk. "I see. My mother was one too, but she came to live with my father in the wild." Raven and Hawk were sitting in her log watching Haru and Anzu while Leaf was out.
()
Screech was asleep in the back. "I over heard that you and your father choose to stay." Hawk meowed, looking at the tom-cat. "I'm bored?" Hawk looked at Raven. "What?" Raven looked at her. "I didn't say anything." He replied. Hawk looked down to see a tiny little kitten staring up at her. It was Haru and he had just spoken for the first time. "You don't look like my
mommy!" The little thing hissed. Hawk smiled. "I'm not your mother that's way. Your mother is out today." Meowed Hawk.
The kitten looked at Raven. "You must be my daddy then. I didn't see him yet. I heard my mommy's voice talking about him. Your him right?" Raven backed away from the tiny kitten. "Sorry, but no. I'm not your father." Meowed Raven.
()
"Will he be coming soon to see us?" Haru asked. "Your a take-a-tive one aren't you?" Raven asked. "Haru. . ." Hawk's voice trailed off. "Yes?" Haru turned back to the white and orange spotted she-cat. "Never mind." Hawk sighed and looked at Anzu. His eyes were still shut and he hasn't yet spoken. He was alive and breathing, but very sick.
"where is my mommy?" Haru asked. "It's hard to tell at this point. She is allover the place this morning." Meowed Hawk.
"I...understand." Hawk looked at the Kitten. "You understand what?" Hawk asked the tiny kitten. Haru looked up at her. "I heard mommy say she might be leaving." Meowed Haru. Hawk's eyes grew wide. "Why would she leave?" Hawk asked Haru. The tiny
kitten shrugged. "what's wrong with. .A-An-Anz-Anzu!" Haru had trouble saying his brother's name. "He is very sick." Meowed
()
Raven. "Oh. Is he going to be okay, so that we can play today?" Haru asked. Hawk's heart was filled with pain. "No. . .I'm afraid not today Haru." She replied, almost shedding a tear or two.
she knew that Anzu was so unhealthy. Why does this have to happen? is what she'd ask herself all the time. "I'm sure he'll live." Meowed Raven, trying to get them both to cheer up. "Yeah. . .Me too." Meowed Haru. "I'm sure everything will turn out happy in the end. . .Even if the end done come as soon as you want it to." Meowed Raven.
()
Anzu lifted his head up. The first time he had moved in a while. "Mew." He replied and laid his head back down. All three cats blinded in confusion. "Well. . .That's a start." Meowed Raven. "But his eye aren't open yet." Meowed Hawk.
"Hello." meowed Haru as he poked Anzu in the cheek.
Anzu's eyes open to revile amber leafy green eye like Leaf's. "Mew?" He replied and laid his head back down.
()
"Can you say hello back?" Haru asked. "Mew." Anzu replied. "That's not how you say hello." Meowed Haru. "Mew, Mew." Meowed Anzu. "why can't he talk like us?" Haru asked Hawk. "I'm not sure. I've never seen that before." Meowed Hawk.
Haru poked Anzu again and looked around. "It's cold in here. That might be why he can't talk." Haru meowed. "I don't think weather has anything to do with it." Raven meowed. "This is not common at all. . .At least I've never seen this before." Hawk looked at Anzu with a puzzled look. "At least he seems okay." Raven pointed out. "Yeah." Hawk agreed.
