Rondel is a french form of poetry consisting of 13 lines: two quatrains and a quintet. Its distinctive characteristic is its rhyming and refrain which is as follows: ABba abAB abbaA. The capital letters are the refrains/repeats.

Greed For Military Might (A Rondel)

As long as there is greed for military might

War zones in the world would stay

For they act as theatres to test and play

the latest weapons, in the market, for fight.

Rat race for these weapons then starts overnight

Boosting the business of death, all the way

As long as there is greed for military might

War zones in the world would stay.

Blurring the difference between wrong and right

Dirty dance of death would continue to play

Civilians would die in the most uncivilized way

Innocents, women and children would live in fright

As long as there is greed for military might.
