This is a poem for the Dark World Series.

A Dark World

Close your eyes what do you see?
If it's night you will see the blue,
If its day you'll see the red.

But look beyond the red and blue
to see the creatures
within the darkened world.

Snakes, birds, people,
and wolves
All within the darkened world.

When you finally open your eyes,
they will either burn or stay.
But in the end,
the darkness will consume the light,
and the only way to keep the light,
is if it's in a tunnel and it's white.

So listen to the creatures of the night,
and chances are,
they will see you to the tunnel.
But if you don't, and go a stray,
You will stay in A Dark World,
and live to stay.
