Back from camp so here you go :)
I carefully turned around to see Mark standing there with a gun pointing at me. A shiver went down my spine and my blood turned cold. He came closer with the gun still pointing at me. He grabbed my waist and held me tight. I closed my eyes, overcame my fear, clenched my wrist and punched him in the face, hard. I watched him flail to the ground and I realised he was unconscious; this was my time to run. I quickly grabbed all my things fearing he could wake at any moment.
I ran down the stairs and out the house and into the park which was more like a forest then a park because of all the trees. I ran and ran and I didn’t look back just in case he was following me. I kept running until my legs started trembling then gave in. I sat under the biggest tree in the middle of the park and since I had no energy whatsoever, I decided to stay the night there. I was lying peacefully with the wind howling above. Then I heard a crackling sound, thinking it was nothing, I closed my eyes and started to relax again. About half an hour after I heard the crackling, it started again, this time I saw the huge branch above me crack and fall, I tried to get up as quickly as I could but my legs were too weak. I started to drag myself along the ground but it was too late.
The branch had fallen, right onto my wrist. I winced in pain and tried to move my wrist but it was too badly hurt and wedged underneath the branch pretty well. I tried to reach for my phone but my bag was too far away. I tried to grab my bag with my feet and after several attempts I finally grabbed it and pulled it towards me, breathing through the pain I dialled emergency and told them to come quick. They took some time though because of the density of the park and when they got there, I had already blacked out.
