I picked up the phone anyway and started talking to her. Apparently, he jumped on her and she only liked it for a second before she realised what she was doing and pulled away quickly. I guess that helps and she and I always knew that I’m horrible at holding grudges at people for longer than a day. After I fully forgave her, we chatted away on the phone like there was no tomorrow but honestly I don’t know how we got to the subject of pork. Whatever, that’s was best friends do, talk about random things and we still have deep and meaningful conversations. I was really happy that I had made up with Lily because she is the only person I can really trust. I mean I would never go to my mum for help, let alone my sister.

“How’s about I come over and we talk about this whole situation more?” I heard Lily say.

“That would be nice but......mum grounded me for two weeks because I punched Honey in the face. That also means no friends over.” All I heard from the other line was a sigh. We kept talking until I heard my mum screaming from downstairs to come down. I said bye to Lily and hesitantly schlepped downstairs. As I got down there, I saw Honey with a huge piece of meat held up against her eye. As she took it away I saw a massive purple circle around her eye. I burst out with laughter then stopped when I saw my mum giving me the death stare. I wanted to not laugh but it was just too hard for me to hold it in.

“Since you find this so funny, you’re being grounded for another week.” SHIT! I should’ve stopped laughing when she gave me the stare. I groaned and walked upstairs. When I got upstairs my phone started ringing, unknown number.

“Hi Jennifer, this is Mark from school.” Who the hell is Mark? OMG, that’s right! The guy Lily likes. How the f*** did he get my number?

“Oh, Hi Mark.”

“Jennifer, I would like to ask you something. I know that I haven’t known you for very long but I think you are an amazing person. Will you go out with me?” Holy Shit. I don’t even know this dude and he’s asking me out?

“Umm....Ahh....Well, Mark......I’m sure you’re a great guy but......umm.......I don’t know you that’m sorry.” I heard whimpering coming from the other line. Was he crying? That’s so cute. Shit! Now I feel really bad. I quickly hung up the phone and lay on my bed staring at the ceiling. My life is so f***ed up right now. I do NOT need more drama.
