Curiousity is humanity's greatest downfall..

ALERT # 7: Chemical Leak In The Lower Level

"Sir!" The cry came from below the skyboard, causing Captain Delanly to turn, "Yes?"

The pant8ing deck boy's scared teal blue eyes were swimming with tears and stained with a black chemical known only to the upper chain of command as Black Matter.

"Sir! Dyvener has gotten free! He's-.." The words were cut short as the boys eyes started to bleed a red-black liquid that ran down his cheeks as easily as a river cutting through a mountain. The terrified youth of only 14 years of age screamed and collasped on the growl, clawing at his bleeding eyes, splattering the red-black subtance over the floor of the skyboard, his body started to cringe and jerk as the Black Matter that had stained his eyes started to eat through the bone and into his skull.

The Captain stared in horror, stumbling away from the boy's convulsing body, it was a horrific sigh, the youth trembled and seemed to be caught in the grasp of a seizure.

"Dammit," The Captain muttered, heart in his throat, and his pale complexion making his 5 foot 7 inch frame look comical. his puffed cheeks were tinted red, and although he was not aware of it, a tiny speck of Black Matter adorned his swarthy skin.

"You..." the voice that whispered up from below the skyboard seemed to be uttered through a mouthful of some liquid-like subtance. The Captain was sure of just who that voice belonged to, there would be no other person alive here, except for him and Dyvener.

The Captain turned and ran, heading towards the radio station in the deck. The large, cargo boat rolled on the waves, the water was unusually calm, unlike the dying screams that echoed from the ship she anchored.

"Falcon Z, come in." The Captain shouted into the radio, his pudgy hands shaking and sweating uncontrollably.

"Falcon Z," Came the reply.

"Falcon Z, this is Noah's Ark 5, the subject has escaped."

"Give me a count,"

The Captain hesistated, "Just one Sir...And the Subject."

The sound of liquid slooshing over the floors of the boat sonded behind him, obviously Dyvener was closing in on him.

"Sir! Dyvener has escaped! The crew is dead! And I'm Next!: Warn the President, warn--Ahhh!"

His scream sounded suddenly, the speck of Black Matter on his cheek was magnifying, eating away at the flesh of his face and causing blood to stream from the open areas.

"You..." The whisper was only a step behind him, the Captain slowly turned, still screaming quite stupidly and holding onto his cheek, not that it did any good, the Matter had already eaten at his skin and muscle and the ivory polish of bone shone through.

Dyvener was over 7 feet tall, Black Matter covering all of his body, dripping down from him and streaming all over the floor. His flesh was not burning, but it seemed to regenerate.

"You will die for your insolence..." Dyvener took a sticky step forward, the loud squishing sound bone garring and nausiating.

"N-No...Please..." The Captain begged through moans of pain, the Matter was eating up his face, slipping into his eye and devouring the soft, vulnerable flesh there.

"Yes..." The Black Matter around Dyvener reared upward like a giant wave and slammed into the Captain. His screams grew in volume for a moment, but they were quickly muffled as the Black Matter poured down his throat.

The Captain died within seconds, nothing of his body left as the Black Matter streamed to the floor, quickly flowing backwards to the source. Dyvener.

He moaned as he watched the Captain die, the smells and rapture of death rolling over him in waves. The Demon turned from the deck and approached the railing.

Next Stop: Civilization.
