Chapter 12

The look on her face. It was was unnerving, she was trying to hide the pain she was in, but I could see straight through that. I knew I could help her, but in the process of healing you needed skin contact and trust enough if you accidently share minds. I didn’t want t ask her if she minded because I wanted to help her, I couldn’t stand seeing her in pain. I guess, also, underneath I wanted to show her it was worth staying, she would need to be persuaded to stay.

Placing my hand over her abdominal I sent my power down my arm, feeling it tingle as I did so, then finally, when it hit my hand, I pushed it in to her skin. Then I formed the magic into a shape of healing, ? is the best presentation I can find for it. The ? slowly drifted off to the place of pain, and when it reached that it would heal her and get rid of the pain. Now that I had sent the healing power, I withdrew my hand and watched her face for any signs of change. She met my eye but I could see no change there, then, she eyes glittered, slide to a deep purple colour before turning to their sparkling green once more. Then her face relaxed, and I knew I had managed to heal her.
