“On the Run”

Sierra Connors hastily exited Thomas Remington's study. She silently walked back up the hall to the main room. She could still hear the party going on at full blast. As she approached the hallway exit, she noticed her government escorts, Tall and Small, were nowhere to be found. She scanned the crowd while she tried to figure out her next move. Sierra then noticed two rough looking characters, who seemed particularly out of place even at a party like this.

One was a bulky guy with only one ear, the other was a tall, short haired platinum blonde female with way too much eye-makeup and rouge on her face. What was interesting to Sierra was the fact that they both seemed to be so interested in her. As they continued to spookily stare at her, Sierra stepped back slowly into the hallway. The man and woman immediately started to follow.

Sierra hurriedly took off her spiked heels and made a mad dash down the hall in search of another exit. As she glanced back, she saw the couple had entered the hallway with guns drawn.

Just then she found a stairway and tore ass up two stories, until she came to another hallway, whereupon she came upon a large picture window. Taking one of her spiked heels, she smashed the glass, dropped the heels, then crawled out onto the ledge.

Sierra charily stepped along the ledge’s edge, delicately balancing herself until she arrived at a corner. Abruptly, a bullet whizzed by her head. She glanced back to see One Ear leaning out the window and pointing a gun in her direction.

Sierra immediately moved around the ledge's corner and noticed an exercise yard below. Remington had apparently installed some exercise equipment which also included a trampoline. Sierra, at this point, was very interested in that trampoline. As she heard another shot, she held her breath and jumped.

Hitting the trampoline dead center, Sierra bounced high, then flipped over and landed feet first on the soft grass. Since there were no Olympic judges around to score her performance, she figured she would just swiftly move on.

As she turned around, however, she came face to face with the Platinum head rouge girl, who threateningly held a gun right in Sierra’s face.

"Come with me, now!" Platinum head harshly stated, in a thick Russian accent.

Sierra coyly smiled, "Hey! Take it easy, Miley Cyrus. Let’s talk this out over drinks. You like Vodka?"

As Platinum head rouge girl cocked her gun, Sierra swiftly kicked her in the shins and knocked the gun out of Platinum’s hand. A karate chop across Platinum’s face brought her quickly to the ground.

But as Sierra once again turned to make her escape, One Ear unexpectedly appeared in front of her and immediately pressed a gun to her forehead.

"Do not move an inch, Bitch!" he commanded, also in a thick Russian accent.

Sierra shrugged and smiled, "Whatever you say, Smirnoff!"

Haha Miley Cyrus and one ear! Love it! Loved the inclusion of the Russians and all the gags that went with it. Sierra can sure take care of herself too. I imagined Miley to look like the Russian man/woman on "kickass 2" so I was impressed when Sierra dispatched her so easily. One ear has her caught between a rock and a 45 though :p cant wait to read how she gets out of this one! Out of the frying pan and behind the iron curtain lol wonderfull and witty as per ")

That one ear guy and the "Miley" girl (LOL!) sound really scary!! Sierra bouncing off the trampoline and landing on her feet like in the Olympics was hilarious. I still love Sierra's attitude and confidence!! KMU!!

Great chapter! I can't wait to see how Sierra gets out of this one. Hopefully she didn't lose that "map" when she jumped off the ledge onto the trampoline. I can't wait to read more!
