His eyes stared upon the empty space, tension writhing through his cold veins, nor alive nor dead, just an empty soul.

‘I love you daddy!’

‘Love you too princess’

Memories flashed through the empty soul, constantly hitting him in every direction. within two minutes he had murdered his family without knowing he had, in refusal, it wasn’t him he had said, it was the teddy bear Susan. The judge had chuckled;

‘A fullygrown man stating that a wool filled piece of material attacked his family!! Emily Sandson; wife shot twice in the head. All three of your children drowned, and I dread to go on Mr. Sandson. You are disgusting, you are accused guilty, and your accusations of a harmless piece of wool attacking your family make me laugh’

Three years later, 1998, 18th July.

“Inspector Moore, the package has arrived on the Sandson’s case”

Inspector Moore’s hands shot out and grabbed the package with such forociety the assistant released a slight whimper. His fingers slowly ripped through cardboard, as if waiting to reveal something dangerous.

“Inspector are you ok?”

The inspector stood paralysed, shaking his head in shock, his eyes as if being pulled open. His black shining leather shoes and White tuxedo shivering as the black leather gloves the inspector wore dropped the brown leaflet to the ground with a thud.

Wow! This story was amazing! With such minimalism and control, you've managed to create an edge of your seat thriller; enough to tease me, wet my appetite, and keep me begging for a sequel. It was minimal- but the minimalism added even more of a mystique and suspenseful effect because I'll never know what became of the serial killer or the detective. Beautiful!
