Chapter One: Old Beginnings...3

Lily POV:

"Hey Evans!" He repeated looking slightly annoyed, his black hair as messy as ever, the way I loved it.

"Hmm", I said, not knowing how to reply.

"I've left my school books in my cupboard, do you mind if I...?"

I shook my head and turned back to look out of the window, afraid I would lose myself in one of the train of fantasies. The wind was blowing hard, making the wind chime tinkle. I could hear James' messy search for his books. How odd it felt to be with James in one room, his room and staring out his window while he searched for his books.

I sighed. Then I turned around. Apparently James had done the same thing.

He looked up, his hair even more messy and glasses askew. It looked as if he was struck by lightening.

"What happened?", I asked, he looked too disconcerted for me to avoid.

"I can't find them! Searched everything! Damn!"

"Did you try- Accio Books..."  In an instant his books came zooming out of the depths of his cupboard.

He looked shocked he'd not done the obvious, "Blimey, I didn't think....!!!"

I started laughing hard. That was until the books came trashing onto me, knocking me down by their weight. It was his turn to laugh, but he didn't.
