Chapter 19:

On the highway, I dialed Logan's number. Unusually, he picked up on the third ring instead of the first. "Hello darling."

"Hey, Logan. Are you home?"

I heard dishes clattering in the background when Logan replied, "No. I'm having lunch in Hollywood. You should join me, Grace."

Hollywood? "Um...I'm not sure how to get there."

"Don't you worry about it. I'll send my driver to come pick you up," Logan stated. I didn't want to use Logan's driver. I was afraid he might think I was using him.

I replied, "Are you sure? I don't want to intrude."

Logan chuckled and said, "You're not! I want to see you. He's on his way right now. Where are you?"

"San Diego," I said softly. I parked my car into an empty lot and got out. He sounded confused on the phone and asked, "Why are you in San Diego?"

I smirked and replied, "Don't worry. You'll hear all about it."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It took about an hour or so for the driver to find me, but I knew it was him when a shiny, black BMW pulled in beside me.
"Are you Grace?" The driver was a tall, husky man in a black tailored suit. He wore black sunglasses and had a gold hoop in his right ear.
He intimidated me. "Y..yes."
"Let's go." He opened the door for me and I quickly climbed in. He shut the door behind in and sat back down in the driver's seat.
We drove in silence for nearly 10 minutes and I finally asked, "Can you turn on the radio, please?"
The driver looked at me in the rear-view mirror and then turned on the radio. The song 'Walk This Way' by Aerosmith, started playing.
I slapped my thighs to the beat of the music and noticed the driver drumming his thumbs on the steering wheel. I smirked and stifled a laugh.
"What's your name?" I asked the driver.
He glanced at me throught the mirror, again, and replied, "Horatio."
"Nice to meet you, Horatio." I simple said.
Horatio focused back on the road and turned the music up.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I had never been to Hollywood, until now, and was fascinated by the big city. The flashing of cameras were everywhere, some tourists others paparazzi.

We saw the Hollywood sign, the boardwalk and finally, Horatio stopped. "Is this the place?" I asked curiously.

He nodded and got out to open my door.

Where Logan was dining, was a restaurant called 'Lavish'. It was a building that was painted silver, so it looked like it was shining in the sun.

When I walked in, a tall hostess in a tight, black dress, smiled curtly and asked for my name.

"Grace. I am here with Logan Banks."

The hostess raised her head up and asked, "Logan Banks?"

I nodded and the girl crossed her arms. I turned away from her glare and scanned the faces in the dining room. Finally, I saw Logan's familiar face and pointed. "There he is. I'll just seat myself."

The hostess followed after me. I waved at Logan and he smiled softly at me. "So glad you made it."

"Mr. Banks, is this girl with you?"

She said girl with a snarl and I tried to keep calm. What was her deal? Logan stood up and said, "Yes, Tiffany, she's with me. Can you tell the waiter to bring another menu?"

The hostess, Tiffany, pouted and walked back towards the kitchen. I sat down beside Logan asked, "What was that all about?"

Logan chuckled and stated, "Tiffany is my ex."

"Oh...that's why she kept looking at me like I was the gum on her shoe." He nodded and placed his hand ontop of mine.

I looked up at him and his smile faded. "What's wrong?" he asked.

"...I need to tell you something."

Logan's face was covered with worry. "What is it, Grace?"

I tried to find a better way to say it, but ended up blurting out, "I'm pregnant."

He turned his head to the side and looked at me, confused. "Excuse me?"

"Logan, I'm pregnant. It happened a week ago..."

He took his hand off of mine and sat it back in his lap. "Um...wow...this is big news, Grace. Do you know who the father is?"

"Of course I do! Do you think I'm some slut and had sex more than once?" I crossed my arms in defense.

Logan shook his head vigorously. "No! God no! I'm not saying that, Grace, I just asked a simple question."

I uncrossed my arms and stared down at my glass of water. "Justin Morgans is the father."

The look of shock on Logan's face was worse than the first one. "Wow...was not expecting that."

I could tell he was beginning to feel awkward, so I started defending myself. "I didn't mean to...something happened that was really tragic to me...and I was in a vulnerable state and Justin was there and took advantage of me. I wanted to tell you because I knew we were moving forward in our relationship and you had a right to know!"

Logan looked at me with a playful smirk on his face. "Calm down, Grace. I'm not mad or anything...I'm happy for you. When you said you had to tell me something...I thought you were breaking up with me."

This time, I had the smirk on my face. "Why would I break up with you, Logan?I love spending time with you and I love my puppy!"

Logan's face lit up when I mentioned Roscoe. "So your mom let you keep him?"

I nodded. "His name is Roscoe. I love him to death!" Logan smiled and replied, "He has a sister, you know? I kept her at my house. Her name is Suki."

"Roscoe and Suki. I like it." I was smiling, but it faded. "What should I do about my baby?"

Logan placed his hand back on mine and stated, "We should really go see a doctor."

We? When Logan said 'we', I knew he was going to stay by my side. He may even say he was the father. I would prefer that more than Justin.

"When should I make the appointment?" Butterflies had formed in the pit of my stomach. Reality had kicked in and I finally realized...I'm going to have a baby.

Logan considered my question for a moment and then answered, "How about Friday?"

That was two days away, so I nodded my head. "Will you come with me?"

"Of course, darling! I'll be there for you."

I smiled and silently thanked him. We, both, stood up and went to pay for the meal. Tiffany glared at me and winked at Logan as we exited the building.

Inside the car, with Horatio, Logan asked, "Do you want to come back to my place? You can meet Suki!"

Logan reminded me of a little kid at that moment and, laughing, I said, "Sure!"

On the way to Logan's house, I thought about who all knows about my pregnancy. Matthew, Justin, David, and now Logan. Funny thing, the only one not on my side is the father, Justin.

I would need to tell my parents, soon, but I want to wait to tell my mom. However, next person I plan to tell would be the scariest:

My dad.

A/N: Hey! Ok guys, I need your opinion. Should I do a Justin's POV? I've been thinking about it, but I'm still unsure. Please let me know what you think about the idea and of this chapter!
