Chapter  11

Hanna’s POV

I really dislike the tone of voice principle Henry is using on us, it’s really pissing me off.

“I don’t understand what the hell you kids are thinking!”

“Well were all gay? Is that what you’re talking about?” Justin asks raising an eyebrow.

“Yes! You know this school is strict about that sort of rubbish!” Henry glances at Ashton and I who were holding hands while standing behind the chairs; we didn’t feel comfortable being that close to the principle at the moment.

“Well sir, it’s not rubbish, what you’re telling this school is that they cannot be who they are and be someone who they aren’t. So that’s your problem, however, we know you do have the gay, lesbian, bisexual club at this school just for personal kicks.” I put in calmly.

Ashton looks over at me with watery eyes, she was tired of this, and she couldn’t take it anymore.

“Sir, you can’t kick us out of this school for being who we are.” Justin says.

“We I can if I tried, although I don’t plan on doing that, because I will give you another chance to change yourself.  I look from Ashton, to Justin to Blake who was looking down at their laps.

“You know what, I’d rather be kicked out of this school which is known for high test scores and being very caring and giving to their student and lied to then go to another school and be treated like other people. Not disowned every single day of my life. So you know what I’d like to put in a school transfer for me, and oh, for Ashton too.” I say boldly.

“Us too, we don’t agree with this shit.” Justin says putting his arm around Blake’s waist.

“Well, I suppose if you children are implying that I have to put in school forms I’ll do what you want.” Mr. Henry implies.

“It’s not what we want sir, it’s what we feel is needed.” We all say getting up and opening the door and slamming it behind up.

I drag Ashton with me to our locker that we shared and her eyes are tearing up, she’s biting her lip trying to hold them back.

“Don’t cry baby.” I pull her into a hug and rub her back.

“I just… it’s so hard I can’t…” Ashton says pulling away from me and grabbing her stuff out of the locker and walking towards her car.

~~~~Ashton~~~~~
My heart hurt and my brain was going from an egg in the shell to scrambled eggs. As I’m walking away tears fall down my cheeks and my head ached. I absolutely wanted to die. I hated this feeling, sure I felt powerful in the beginning but now I feel that I can’t handle anything.
I open my car door and locked it behind me and sob until I can’t breathe.
