A poem about the important things in life, those that we hold dear. If you don't like, don't read! No haters!

A tiny, battered bear with many loose threads,

A little blanket you used to take into bed,

A picture frame holds a forgotten memory,

A book so battered, it can barely be seen,

Things that to others, have no meaning or value,

These are the things we hold dear.

Lemme see... I loved your poem. I liked the fact that you added things like a bear or an extremely old book to things that we keep dear to our hearts. It's nicely written I must admit. Great job *^*!

I loved the way you picked all the little things which seems so insignifinact but hold a hell lot of significance.... And I loved the way that you always pass a message just through a few lines. Holding a deeper meaning behind them. Awesome job

I think this is quite strong, and I always say that being able to get across a strong effect in a short piece takes some talent. The last line in particular makes the reader think about their own keepsakes from their lives, which is what lends this piece its power in my opinion. You're pretty good.
