If I type in "Define time" on google, the top two definitions that show up are,

"The indefinite continued progress of existence and events in the past, present,

A7nd future regarded as a whole" and

"A point of time as measured in hours and minutes past midnight or noon."

But if you were to ask me what time was,

I would tell you it is an absolute condescending prick,

And it literally goes on whether we're here or not. Time is one of the greatest,

But also one of the worst things in history. See what I did there?

It doesn't matter whether it's 3 in the afternoon and you're having the time of your life,

Or if it's 3 a.m. and you feel like your lungs are going to collapse from crying.

Time still ticks on, the earth still spins, and even though you feel like you can't take one more breath,

Life still goes on. And I know it's tough.

I can be an emotional mess at one a.m. and by the time noon rolls around, it's like nothing happened. The trouble is, we think we have enough time.

That no matter what, we'll always have time.

We're so oblivious to the fact that we only have so many breathes to take before we'll no longer hear The "tick..tick..ticking.." sound of the clock.
