Locked in
The door would not come to budge, and the bars were too close together for me to slip thru my hand would and could not reach the other side to unlock myself. I was locked in here once again, even with no guard I had no chance of getting out.
I was a mixture between a dark angel and demon and yet I couldn’t even break down a stupid door? I hated this. I hated this so much and he was probably free roaming out there then again why hadn’t there been a guard there? There was always a guard even when I wasn’t here which was never. Something had gone wrong, very wrong where was Christian? He wasn’t anywhere in sight had they taken him out there? He would not be coming back anytime soon, he would die his blood would be spilled on the ground and no one would care. Maybe if he was lucky his body would come back bloody and dead his pulse no longer beating his heart stopped.
The more I thought about it the more I worried he couldn’t die I had to get out of here. I tried climbing the bars no use the top was ceiling anyhow it wouldn’t do me any good. I needed some type of power right now super strength would be nice. I paced some around my room nothing read through the books looking for how a dark angel releases its power. It gave me nothing not one sentence those books were useless and that’s when I saw him from the corner of my eye I was so sick of this, but it wasn’t glowing.
It was dark and faded like an old picture; I turned to look at it. It started back at me it looked hungry ravenous infect it had these deep set green eyes that wouldn’t blink he only started at me with his eyes. He looked like he was trying to keep back like he didn’t want his mouth to water for some reason. He wasn’t like what they normally were their mouths would water their eyes purple and hungry this one however was different.
He wasn’t lunging for the bars he was pacing. I noticed something about this one he was different had control over himself. His hair was a messy brown and wouldn’t stay in place his eyes green, but they looked to be some other color as well. Something was missing here I didn’t get something I knew things were suppose to be clicking into place, but they weren’t.
“I don’t have a soul.” I blurted out, he turned his head to face me his eyes like a storm I knew him.
“Of course you do it’s just buried you still are some human you can bleed and it will hurt. You just don’t think it will have they told you this yet? Do you really think you don’t have a soul? Because I can smell it, and sense it and it is there. You are still some human, and since you are you have a soul. That’s the only human trait about you though and the fact you do feel pain.” He looked at me like he was staring into my soul.
“Your, you look like someone I know and so how did you get in here hmmmmmm?” I looked hard into his eyes there was something there in his eyes.
“Experience. Would you like to be free outta there little rabbit?” He asked this and then smiled. “I won’t hurt you.” He bit his lip a little bit, I knew he was lying.
“Why should I trust you? I’m not stupid you know and no amount of stares you give me is going to make me want to come with you.” I shouted at him.
“You think I would kill you? If I wanted to kill you I would have done so already. No, no I was not sent to kill you Paramour I was sent to bring you back home with us.” He smiled a nice cruel cold smile he had once been good looking I suppose; now he was just dark. You could tell something about him was bad.
“My name isn’t Paramour.” I shuffled my feet a little he wouldn’t dare call me that here no one would that’s what they said behide my back not to my face.
“No it isn’t but that’s what you seem to do become secretly in love with someone you don’t know and then. You betray them you know what you did that’s why I’m calling you Paramour now come on I won’t hurt you.” He was still composed but he seemed annoyed with me.
“Shut up you don’t know me you ugh just get away from me right now and you will hurt me. I’m not a child I’ve seen movies the bad guy says I won’t hurt you and then the naïve girls believes him and they go off together and then he kills her somehow or hurts her. I’m not 5 I know how this works why would you want me anyways I’m of no importance to you. You can carry out your plans without me now get out now!” I screeched at him I feared no demon he was only another one of them he didn’t belong here I didn’t near him to make an escape.
“Paramour I could have killed you already I won’t hurt you I promise.” I don’t know what it was about him he seemed different I felt like I’ve known him my whole life.
“Promise?” I looked up at him to see his eyes they shimmered with hope and happiness.
“I promise.” He came closer to me and the door opened he rushed over to me and hugged me tightly; I hugged him back unsure of who he was.
“What’s your name?” I question.
“Not of your importance Paramour.” He stroked my hair and I thought I knew who he was then his eyes his hair it all clicked into place. I hugged him tighter not wanting to let go of him, his body was warm and so I clung to him. He still smelt good just like the last time I saw him he deserved a lot better than this. I smiled at him and felt a tear coolly roll off my cheek I wiped it away before he could see it. I wanted to stay this way forever, but that could never be.
