In my mind's eye
I see you there
On the pedestal
That I created for you
Perfect and oh so beautiful
Larger than life
Every time I look
You're even more than before.
Perhaps ~
If my vision of you
Was not tempered
In stained glass
I wouldn't be left
Blinded by the glare.
Maybe then I'd
Be able to see
That you, are
Mortal as Me.
I'm charmed by you
Warmed by your smile
I'm lost in it all.
I'm a child
Intimidated by the strength
That breaks down my wall.
I fear and want
At the same time
I roll the dice
Take the risk
And pray for the outcome.

Ahh, so you read it after all. There are very few soft sides to the Madame.
