He watched her run from him. The tears she had in her eyes let him know just how much his words had stung.

YOU DICKHEAD! Blake silently cursed himself. A wave of guilt washed over him.

The things Penelope stirred inside him were alien to him. It was a feeling no other girl had ever made him feel and it had him going crazy. It was like he was addicted to her, and it scared the fuck out of him.

Blake ran his fingers through his hair and walked back to class. A million things running through his mind. Most of those things were reasons why she shouldn’t be with him.

He didn’t deserve her.

Mitchell paced back and forth in the schools hallway, thinking.

Where is Penelope?

He was getting anxious.

He wanted to ask her out, but where the hell was she?

Whipping out his mobile phone from his hoodie, someone brushed past him.

“Hey! Blake!”

Blake turned and looked. What does this fucker want?

Mitchell stared hard, “Have you seen Penelope anywhere?”

“No.” Blake walked toward him slowly with a swagger, “Why do you want to see her?”

The look in Blake’s eyes dared him to say something he didn’t like. Mitchell didn’t give a fuck.

“I’m going to ask her out to dinner” He stood a little straighter as he said it.

“Stay away from her,” Blake ground out “she’s with me.”

“How many times does she have to make it clear that she’s with me! She wants me!” he jabbed his index finger to his muscled chest, “Have you even told her about your feelings for her? Mitchell asked

That was when Blake paused and stiffened. Mitchell was right. He had to tell Penelope how he was feeling.

That he wanted her to be his. But how would she react after what he had said to her on the football field when he told her?

That’s what Blake feared as he turned and walked fast out the glass doors.

Mitchell watched as Blake spun and left.

He sighed.

Mitchell hated the guy but he felt somewhat sorry for him as well. Penelope hates his guts. Penelope wouldn’t choose Blake over him, he knew that much.

Mitchell decided to head back to class and spun around.

But when he did he spotted Carley just before she spun back around to her locker pretending she wasn’t eavesdropping. This is going to be all over the school by tomorrow now that Carley had heard their argument. She loved juicy gossip just as much as she loved to spread it.

“Penelope why are yo-what’s wrong darling?” Penelope’s mother asked, startled by her wobbly entrance as she scrambled upstairs to her room. She threw herself on the purple bedcovers of her queen size bed then cried into her pillow.

Why does he hate me so much? Can’t he just leave me and Mitch alone? He’s been harassing me so much lately.

I wonder if he gets some sort of sick pleasure in trying to ruin me and gain me a bad rep.

Ugh! Stop crying over him Penelope!

Right now.

Blake is NOT worth it.

As Penelope sat up against her pillows and wiped her tears, an idea crept into her mind. She had a plan.

Although Mitch is a nice guy and great looking; she just wasn’t into him. Mitch was her friend. And hopefully he could help her bring this plan into play. She reached into her jean pocket for her cell phone and dialled his number.

Blake walked over to a seat in Math where he would be far away from Penelope. He knew she wouldn’t want anything to do with him after yesterday’s event.

He felt like shit. He lost so much sleep just thinking about her.

Thinking of different scenarios of what could have happened that afternoon. It replayed in his mind over and over, last night also included him having to jack-off a few times to ease the aching hard-on.

Why does this have to be so complicated?

He checked his watch, class was about to start in ten.

Suddenly the stench of strong perfume invaded his nostrils and arms laced around his neck from behind him. He knew it was Delia. He groaned and removed her slutty hands off of him and turned, “I’m not in the mood,” He growled.

She curled her red stained lips into a seductive smile which didn’t work on him anymore.

“Do you know how easy it would be for me to make you in the mood for me?”

He frowned disgusted and simply dismissed her with a flick of his wrist and she slumped away with and appalled expression.

When he turned back in his seat, his eyes fixated on Penelope and Mitchell kissing and fooling with her hair.

It took all his restraint not to yank her out of his arms and rearrange that bastard’s face.

He looked away from them as they settled in a seat a few desks across from him. She giggled and he clenched his fists tightly in his lap.

He had no right to be jealous! Blake silently scolded himself. Not after what he had said to her.

But still he didn’t want her to be with anyone. Why?

Because he was jealous.

Beyond belief.
