She could hear the rustle of the leaves. She could hear her heart thumping against her chest. She could hear the screaming of her name. But she kept on running. Running for hope. Running for some love. Running for a new life. She didn't know where to go. Every penny she had made, every bread she had purchased,  and every love she had made was all left far behind. She knew she would never be coming back, nevertheless she was determined to look for a life where she finally could breathe, and where her heart could finally beat without any fear, free from love. She didn't know where she was headed but she kept on as she was relieved it would take her far from the world she wanted to be just a nightmare.

She never knew that her pretty face would ever come out to be useful, she had always felt otherwise. But now, when her hair was prolifically messy, her shawl hiding her torn expensive gown, and some scratches and wound on her visible leg, she managed to keep the attention on her pretty face instead of her demenour at the relatively busy taxi station. One of the cabman, interested in some heavy tip by the rich and beautiful lady, immediately came into her way and asked where she wanted to go. Where. Wish she had known. Wish she could have said some place's name and not sounded like a wounded and needy lost person. Fearing she might be mistaken for something else, she babbled. "Hello. Could you please just take me to the city, not beside this town but at least two towns ahead?". It sounded soohesticated, it sounded grand, but had you heard a little closer you could have seen how frightened her voice had been, how it trembled, how hard it had found to gush out of her beating lungs and a tormented heart. Amused and delighted, as the driver was, he exclaimed," yes mam. Ready for a joyful ride?".
It was cold outside, very cold. But as the cab drove off, it became warm. Warm with fearlessness and warm with hope.
