One of my poems that started differently than it ended.

The day of sadness is almost here,

the day of which I feel fear.

Death is normal,

in your grave dressed formal.

But it's not great when people you love go before you,

and it hurts to know there is nothing you can do.

But you're not afraid to die,

you believe so as time passes by.

What you're really afraid of is to be alone,

that after you pass you forget the people you've been shown.

That's what frightens me,

deep in my heart, I know that's not how it's going to be.

This poem is very thought provoking,
and true how a lot of people feel.

Thanks, I love those lines too! I tend to provoke a lot of thoughts, opinions, words. It's what I do I guess. Hehe.
