There we were. In a dilapidated theatre, most likely surrounded by the undead. I stared at my friend, watching the sweat run down from her forehead She wiped it with the sleeve of her dirty, green, torn jacket and pulled her knife from its holster and pointed at the boarded up window that led to a pitch black room. I slowly looked at the window, hoping that there wasn’t anything there, but I was wrong. Dead wrong.

Immediately, I saw dozens, maybe more, of bright yellow eyes that glowed in the dark. They started to rip the boards off of the window, but my friend made a beeline for the window and started hacking and slashing at their hands, pieces of dead, decaying flesh flew every which way. It didn’t bother the zombies, they couldn’t feel the pain. While my friend is busy with the window, behind me, I heard the starving moans and groans of the living dead banging and breaking down the doors. I looked at my revolver. I had only one bullet left and I was saving it for a special occasion so I couldn’t use them on the zombies. I ran towards the door to barricade it, but I was too slow and too late.

The door broke open and a horde of zombies started sprinting at me like I was its long, lost love. I turned around and ran, but my friend was behind pulled into the window. I ran over to her aide, breathing heavily and desperately, as she held on for dear life.  Finally, I made it and grabbed her hand, watching the fear in her eyes build and build. She saw the zombies sprinting towards me and started breaking away from my grip, yelling, “No! Run! Riker, run!” I heard her flesh being ripped apart and bones break as if it was in a meat grinder.

“No, not without you!” I yelled back. She was the only one that I knew, that I trusted. There was no way I was about to leave her!

Blood gushed out of her mouth. “Goooo!” She yelled before being pulled inside, her body being ripped to shreds. Her screams of agonizing pain echoed in my head as I fell on the ground as she was yanked out of my grip and life. I hurriedly and fearfully got up and maneuvered around the zombies that tried to grab me and make me their next meal. But suddenly, I couldn’t feel my body anymore. No matter what I tried to do, it didn’t happen. I couldn’t move! I am so dead! So fucking dead! The zombies’ blood curdling screeches sent a chill down my spine as I felt one of them knock me down and get on top of me. It snarled and growled as it snapped its jaws at me, the smell of rotting flesh filled my nostrils as blood dripped from its mouth. I was too weak from not eating and I couldn’t fight him anymore.

In the distance, I saw her, my friend, Ariana, crawl out of the window, pale skinned and one of them.

“God, please no. Oh god, no.” I cried as she started to crawl her way to me. The other zombies were closing in on me and I was out of options. I had no other choice. With my free hand, I reached for my revolver and aimed it at my temple. I closed my eyes and pulled the trigger.

Welp.......damn. I like this chapter it reminded me of playing the zombies on call of duty or whatever that game was(I'm such a dedicated gamer can't you tell). When his friend nick started killing the zombies at the window i was thinking " ~Thumbs up~ Bad ass." and ahhhh sprinting zombies :O! Speaking for myself i hate running and i only run when i absolutely HAVE TO, so i'd more then likely be fu*ked in this situation (In my future voice) -Just being honest :D. ~poetic

I really like this chapter, the details are make me feel like I'm there! But once again you really should try and space out more even if it seems like you shouldn't, or use a different font. But that is just my opinion, so do whatever makes YOU happy :D I'll get to reading more chapters as soon as possible :)
