Authors Note: Hi, this story, I've just randomly started and I'd love to hear feedback to know if I should continue with it or not. I hope that I can really portray my beautifully made up characters Everly and Ace as perfect as they are in my imagination.Feed back is hugely appreciated, please note, I write this chapter by chapter and have not finished the entire book when I post and I'm horrible at editing.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Prologue.

He swore that he would not abandon me. I swore I’d love him forever. It seems that neither of us knew how big the promises would be to keep. And so when I braved the cold rain pelting my skin that stabbed my shivering body to the bone, it was the promises that drove me. I knew that it was insane as I ran through the fields. I knew that it was pointless for me to continue searching when I knew I’d find nothing. But I held onto that little inch of happiness- the little bit of hope. Ace gave me a single red rose the day he left. And hours after he did not return- answer my texts, phone calls and seemingly vanished into thin air – I was granted with a perfectly immortalised black rose- wrapped in the bed sheets where he once lied. To me, it was all a test. Distance is just a test to see how far love can travel. I didn’t want to think about him being truly gone. About him being in Heaven, hell or the in-between dimensions. All I knew was, I could not and would not stop running until I found him – No matter where it took me.
