*Okay, so I'm kind of introducing the characters right now, so it's basically just background info, so keep with me. Thank you:]*

Ch. 3 California Girls

Fiji had been amazing, and Charlotte felt extremely satisfied. She had spontaneously decided to go to Fiji the week before school officially started because she had this weird feeling that she had to go. So what does she do? Charlotte always had a plan, so she called up her mothers agent and insisted her too book a flight to Fiji ASAP. Her younger sister went with her and not only was this trip relaxing for her but, also a bonding experience for the two Adams sisters. Now back at Los Angeles, Charlotte waited for her cab to come pick her and her sister up from LAX. She wore oversized sunglasses, jean shorts, a basic white cami with a gray cardigan, and a pair of extremely cute golden gladiator sandals. And Charlotte was your stereotypical California girl, tall, skinny, blonde hair, blue eyes and a light natural tan, what more could a girl ask for?

"Oh my god, finally" she complained. Her drivers weren't home yet and unlike New York where she could always find a cab, in LA you had to call for one. The supply was limited here at the airport. "Come on Stacy, let's go" She pulled her little sister from the elbow and made sure she slid in first. The cab driver put all the luggage in the trunk and quickly sped off.

They finally got to their house in, you guessed it, Beverley Hills. The big mansionhad a spa, indoor/outdoor pool, tennis courts, movie theater, anything and everything! Charlotte's mom was a notorious socialite, who still looked 25 when she was actually 38, so money still flowed in heavily from all directions.

As they entered the house a maid rushed to their side with a huge grin in her face, that made Charlotte highly suspicious.

"Miss Adams, flowers were brought to you" She said pointing to a huge bouquet of red roses in a table. All three of them moved carefully to the table and Charlotte pulled out the little note that came with it and pulled it out of the white envelope. It read: Charlotte, please give me another chance. I'll do anything. Love James. Charlotte sympathized with him, she broke it up abruptly. Last year! And he still wasn't over it. But Charlotte wasn't cold hearted, she really liked him, his British accent, his serenades, his poetic way of speaking, she even thought he might me the one, but there were certain circumstances and what had to be done was done.

"Put them away" was all she said and walked to her room. Her room was huge, no doubt about it, but she rarely used it. She immediately packed for school. She threw in her uniforms, endless pairs of shoes, clothing of all sorts, and little nick knacks. "I'm leaving" She announced and kissed her sister on the cheek and held her tightly. She was going to miss the hell out of her, maybe the only thing she would.

"But we just got here"

"I have to be at school, since like, two days ago" Her sister made a sour face and Charlotte couldn't help but laugh at that. "I still hate the fact you managed to get out of going to St. Augustine's, little brat" and she had, by taking a stance over her scientific views. Her sister shrugged and smiled back at her.

"If you can milk it, why not?" Her sister said. "I'll miss you Char"

"Me too" And with that she had one of the drivers that arrived, take her back to LAX. And there she took a one way ticket to New England, leaving all the great weather, the waves, palm trees, far behind.

"Eve!" Charlotte shrieked as soon as she entered her dorm. Her best friend of ages was there waiting for her. She loved Evangeline, she was always there for her when she needed her the most, tears and heartbreakes and all.

"Charlotte!" She shrieked back and the two hugged each other tightly. "I've missed you so, so much"

"Me too! I have so much to tell you"

"Same here. So tell me how was Fiji"

"Oh, I bear gifts" Charlotte said and took out a bag out of her suitcase. "This is an authentic pearl"

"Oh my gosh, it's beautiful" the two girls exchanged stories about their summer vacations and Eve dished about Matt's doings. It was like they never were apart from each other, they were that close.

"Hmm, Matt," Charlotte started as they sat in Eve's bed, "is just very lost and confused. He's a lost puppy, you can say" Eve laughed at the thought. "He's too focused on his damn family troubles"

"Yeah, you're right, but,"

"But nothing, let it go Matt is just... What's that word?"

"A lost puppy?" She quoted and they started laughing. Music rang from Charlotte's phone and it was a text message.

"It's Matt, he wants to talk to you. Why the hell is he texting me then?" she asked curiously. "Are you ingnoring his calls?" Eve nodded. Charlotte always was in this position, a sort of middle man. And she hated it because Matt and Eve were her best friends, she couldn't possibly choose. Or maybe she could, Eve would certainly be her choice. Charlotte always tried to avoid this drama, but it just followed her everywhere. Like that one time this girl i her bio class accused her of stealing her boyfriend, when everyone knew he was fucking the cheer captain. Or that one time when she was signed to a modeling contract and she appeared at a Betsey Johnson show and walked out, because one of the models had poured coffee on her hair. She hated that stuff, but she dealt with it.

But drama always followed Charlotte, that was a given.

God, I'm such a ditz, I ignored the 'Charlotte' POV on top and didn't realise 'till like, when she saw Eve. Anyways, I like the way you're introducing them, I always like it when you find out about EVERYONE in the story, and it's not just a one man show :) Good job C: xo

Eve was just very frustrated with matt right now, so she kind of needed some space. Oh you are so sweet hopefully the story lives up to your expectations!! And I hope you enjoy it!
