Crystal sat up on the bed and grabbed her cellphone sitting on the nightstand to the right of her bed. She turned the screen on and looked at the time, it showed 7:55 AM, “Damn it! I’m going to be late to class!” she cried as she jumped off the bed dropping her phone on the bed. She ran up to her closet and grabbed the first dress she saw, a black sundress with a red flower pattern on the skirt and a red belt attached to the waist. She took off her pajamas and slipped on the dress quickly and then grabbed a pair of shoes and slipped them on.

She grabbed her cellphone from the bed and walked out of the room to the kitchen. She grabbed a pop tart from the cabinet then walked over to the front door grabbing the backpack hanging from the stool by the counter in the kitchen. She rushed out the door locking it behind her and heading to the elevator. As she waited for the elevator to arrive her phone began to ring, “Hello?” she answered.

“Crystal, Where are you?” replied Christina, her best friend since the 6th grade, “You are going to miss the exam.”

“I know, I’m on my way as fast as I can, I kinda overslept because…” she started responding when the line went dead as she walked into the elevator. She was about to tell her something happened last night she wanted to talk to her about. She stepped out of the elevator on the first floor and rushed out the front door of the building, “Bye Miss Lanning,” said the guard at the front desk. She was in such a hurried that she didn’t hear him and kept moving.  Outside, she saw a cab driving by and she signaled the driver to pick her up. The cab pulled up by her in front of the apartment building and she got in giving the driver her destination.

On the way to the school, she started thinking of last night, remembering almost getting raped. “What happened last night? I was almost raped then I started glowing and suddenly I wake up on the ground alone,” she thought trying to make sense of the event. Then she’s started thinking of the exam that awaited her now in class, the Psychology exam she didn’t even study for. “What am I going to do? I need to pass this exam or I won’t be able to finish nursing school, I shouldn’t have stayed up watching Pirates of the Caribbean last night, Ugh!” She thought, worried about taking the exam.

“Crystal, you know I’m not supposed to let you in during an exam if you are late,” Professor Flores said as Crystal opened the door to come in.

“Please professor, I can’t still take the test within the remaining time,” Crystal begged.

The professor decided to let her in because she has always been a good student in her class and has never been late. Crystal quickly came in put her backpack down in the front of the classroom grabbing a pencil from it. The professor handed her a copy of the exam and she sat down at her desk to start working on it. She filled in her name and date on the spaces provided above and looked over the questions. The exam consisted of ten essay questions about psychology, as she skimmed through each question she had no idea what any of it meant. “What am I going to do? I can answer this… I didn’t even study,” She thought shaking her pencil. Suddenly she started writing down an answer for the first question, “Huh? What’s going on? My hand is moving on its own,” she thought. She seemed to be writing down the answers to the questions without even trying.

She filled in each question, completely unaware of what she was writing. She finished the entire exam and stood up. Everyone stared at her as she walked up to the front to hand in her exam. “Don’t you want to go over it, make sure you didn’t make a mistake?” asked the professor, surprised at how quickly she had finished, “You still have 15 minutes left.”

Crystal shook her head, “I’m fine, thank you,” she said. Though she really wasnt, even if she went over it, she wouldn’t know what she was looking at. She handed the exam to the professor, grabbed her backpack and walked out towards the cafeteria.

She purchased some nachos and a pepsi from the cafeteria and sat down to eat. “I wonder how Christina is going to do on the exam? She is so smart she’ll probably pass with flying colors,” She thought as she ate her nachos waiting for Christina to get out of class.

“Excuse me,” said a voice from behind startling her.

She turned to see who it was and saw a cute, no not cute, hot boy with shoulder length blond hair and green eyes. Though his shirt was somewhat loose, she could tell he wasn’t scrawny. “Umm… Yes?” she asked.

“Sorry to startle you, but could you tell me how to get to the admissions office?” he asked.

“Umm… sure, it’s... ummm, it’s…”, she stuttered trying to answer, “it’s down this hall second door on the right,” she finally said.

“Thank you,” he responded walking away to where she pointed at.

“What the hell was that? I never stutter in front of a hot guy?” she thought. Though, he was like no one she had ever met. The blond curls hanging down to his shoulders, the emerald looking eyes… Thinking about him made her feel butterflies in her stomach.

“Crystal!” Christina yelled as she entered the cafeteria walking over to her, “How did you finish so quick? I was only on question 6 when you got up. And you were late,” she asked.

Crystal shrugged her shoulders, “I don’t know, I just did… Anyway, How do you think you did?” she asked changing the subject.

“Ok, I guess,” she responded modestly.

Crystal couldn’t believe she wasn’t more confident than that. She’s always been smarter and there was no doubt on her mind Christina passed the test.

They sat in the cafeteria for about an hour talking about last night. Crystal told her everything that happened, the reason why she overslept last night. “Oh my god Crystal, I don’t know what I would’ve done if I was you,” Christina said glad that nothing ended up happening to her. They got up and decided to leave to the mall and walk around a bit looking at things they want but can’t afford yet.

They walked around for hours in the mall going into stores, trying out outfits and checking out boys. No boy seem to have any effects on Crystal, she kept finding something that couldn’t compare to the boy at school earlier. At around 8 pm Crystal decided to call it quits, and said her goodbyes to Christina and went home.

Commander Turok was looking the screens in the research room watching the human female. He always sat there for hours watching, studying, fantasizing about her as his beloved, his wife… his slave. He sometimes felt some jealousy for the lieutenant, he wished he could be the living in her mind right now, feeling everything she feels, sees, and does. But he lacked that ability, the ability that now gave Lieutenant Seryl the chance to learn more about her, about humans for a chance of survival. “After all this is done, she will be mine.” He thought.

“Commander Turok, a ship is approaching,” said a voice on the comm.

“Try to hail them,” He ordered and walked over to the bridge.

“No response to our hails sir,” the tactical officer said, “Their charging weapons!”

“Evasive maneuvers Delta Zeta,” he ordered.

The ship shook as it got hit with the blasts from the ship, “Thrusters and Weapons have been disabled!” the tactical officer said, “We are being boarded.”

“All hands prepare for close combat,” The commander said through the comm to the crew of the ship.

Once the enemy had been cleared the commander requested damage report. “We have 3 wounded in Engineering, and 4 already in sick bay. No breaches in the hull.” responded the tactical officer.

“Check all areas of the ship, make sure no one is left alive, and make sure they didn’t leave anything hidden,” ordered the commander.

Crystal sat on the couch in her living room thinking about the exam today. Wondering what was that all about, her hands moved on their own answering every question. If the answers are correct, will the professor accuse her of cheating? “No that’s not possible, all we have available is our pencil and the exam, she can’t accuse me of cheating,” she said.

“Ugh! I don’t want to think about this anymore, my head hurts,” she cried out.

She got up and walked to the kitchen. She grabbed a frozen dinner, heat it up and ate it. She then walked to the bathroom to take a shower. As she started undressing herself, she got this uneasy feeling that someone was watching her. “It must be my nerves after last night,” she thought. Though she still decided to leave her bra and panties on as she took a shower. It made her feel more comfortable that way.

After the shower, she dried herself and wrapped the towel around her body. She took her underwear off from under the towel and walked over to her dresser to get a pair of clean panties and a nightgown. She slipped the nightgown on over the towel then dropped the towel to the floor. She then put on her panties, lied down on the bed and fell asleep.

Well this is just getting better and better! I'm glad that he helped her out on her test and it's cool she has a new potential love interest but it sucks now because the Commander up in the sky is getting jealous I'm worried that blonde boy's life might be in danger and nobody wants that! As for the Lieutenant I love that he hasn't tried to speak to her, sure it would jeopardize his mission but I'd be so bored being quiet like that all the time ha. All these different character and pieces are coming together nicely I can't wait to see what's going to happen in this story! more people need to read this it's honestly SUPER good like I'm jealous of how good of a writer you are!

This is good... Just wondering, how old is Crystal? Assuming she's at university I'm guessing 18 or 19... Commander Turok's lust is a great angle to go down... looking forward to more...

Crystal is supposed to be 20 years old, I just realized it does not say it on the story... lol Anyway, let me know anything that could be different throughout the story. I'm glad you are enjoying it.

Once again an interesting chapter! It seems like Crystal has some sort of a subconscious knowledge that the Lieutenant is there or the Lieutenant is just a really good guy and made her cover herself hahaha.
