A/N:Guys...please dont hate me....I'm sorry this is so late .__.

Chapter Nine:

An odd ending, to a new beginning.

My last twenty four hours in San Diego, where nothing but relaxation. Sophie still couldnt have visitors, but they said by next week she could have visitors. This was good news for all of us, seeing that we would be able to come back and visit her sometime soon. I was planning on going to visit again in about a month.

I was now back in Ohio. Boring old Ohio. I dont have a problem with living here, its just nothing ever happens in the town we live in. We consider ourselves lucky if a local band wants to preform here.I don't know how I ent u here, but I just did. It was like something was drawing me to this town. This silent little town in Ohio.

I rested my head on the seat in Alex's truck. I focus on the scenery out the window. Cows, Cows, and more cows. Wait! There may have been a horse hidden in that group of cows. Oh, Ohio you are so exciting.

Alex's knee hit mine, and I looked away from the milions of cows. I looked up at him, and he smiled. "Whatcha thinking about Nina?" He asked, his eyes now focused on the rainy road infront of him.

"How I got to this town. I mean, it's just so boring!" I threw my hands up in the air.

Alex gave me a quick glance before smirking at me. "Theres nothing wrong with ohio! Except the snow and the rain! I really like Drew Carey and I'd love to see the Rock N Roll hall of fame."

"Wow, Alex did you really just sing Bowling For Soup?" I raised an eyebrow.

"Oh, I can sing more than that." He winked, and then started to drum a beat on the dashboard. I instantly knew what song it was. I tried to cover my ears, but it was to late.

"Yo! I'll tell you what I want, What I really really want. So tell me what you want what you really really-"

"Alex stop!" I couldn't help but to laugh. "I can't have a boyfriend who secretly wants to be a spice girl!"

He looked at me, and I knew more was coming. "If you wanna be my lover, you gotta get with my friends-"

"Stop it! I cant take it!" I reached towards the radio, and turned it onto bull blast.

"I got my first real six- string

bought it at the five and dime

Played it till my fingers bled

Was the summer of '69"

Summer of '69 started to fill the car. I looked at Alex, and we instantly started to sing along.

"Me and some guys from school

Had a band and we tried real hard

Jimmy quit, Jody got married

Shoulda known we'd never get far"

Alex did a nother drum roll on the dash board, and I noticed the crazy stares we were getting from people driving by. But hey, whose to blame them? It's not every day you see two twenty- three year olds rocking out.

"Oh and when I look back now

that summer seemed to last forever

And if I had the choice

Yeah, I'd always want to be there

Those were the best days of my life"

Alex rolled down his window, and stuck his hand out. He let the wind spread through his fingers, and then he rolled it back up, and looked at me. We started to sing at the same time.

"Aint no use in complaining when you got a job to do

speand my evenings down at the drive in

and thats when I met you

"Standin' on your mama's porch

You told me that you'd wait forever

Oh and when you held my hand

I knew that it was now or never

Those were the best days of my life"

Alex gave one last drum roll, and I joined in this time. Our loud drumming echoing off the walls off the car. We stopped at a red light, and looked at eachother. We burt out into fits of laughter as we tried to sing the last part.

"Oh yeah

Back in the summer of '69

Man we were killin' time

We were young and restless

We needed to unwind

I guess nothin' can last forever, forever, no

And now the times are changin'

Look at everything that's come and gone

Sometimes when I by Deals Plugin Extension">playthat old six-string

Think about you wonder what went wrong

Standin' on your mama's porch

You told me it would last forever

Oh and when you held my hand

I knew that it was now or never

Those were the best days of my life

Oh yeah

Back in the summer of '69

It was the summer of '69, oh yeah

Me and my baby in '69, oh"

Just as the song finished, We pulled up to my apartment. Alex offered to bring my bags up, and I didn't stop him. We walked silently through the halls of my apartment until we came to my door. Instantly I stopped. Tapped to the outside of my door, was a bright yellow piece of paper. In bold black letters it read: "Notice, Iviction."

I tore the piece of paper off the door and held it in my hands. They gave me five days to make all of my stuff out, but the paper was dated back to the day I left for San Diego.

"Nina...whats wrong?" Alex asked from behind my shoulder.

"They are giving me the boot." I sighed. "And today is the last day I have to move all of my shit out of here!" I threw the paper onto the ground and unlocked my door.

I ran around, throwing all my clothes into bags. Everything I needed was put into my old moving boxes. Alex just sat there watching. He had an expression on his face, clearly stating that he was confused. "Do you have anywhere to go?"

I laughed a cold hard, bitter laugh. "Of course not."

He looked taken back for a moment, but then his hand reached out and grabbed me. He pulled me against his hard chest, and forced me to look at him. "Nina, come stay with me for a few weeks. I'm not going to let my girlfriend stay out at some random hotel. Please?"

He was looking right into my eyes. I had no other choice. I wouldnt be able to keep all of my stuff in a hotel, and I couldn't afford a hotel. There was no chance in Hell that I was closing down my shop. I sighed, running my hands through my hair. "Thank you."

Alex smiled and kissed my hair. "No problem."

Not only was I kicked out of my apartment, but I was soon going to be alone in a house with Alex. Most girls would be happy about that, but I'm not most girls. What if his parents find out, and they kick me out? This was going to be tough, but it was my only choice at the moment.

Thoughts? mwahahahaha left you guys hanging on that one! And i'm sorry to say, the next part wont be up until at least Wednesday. CALMITH OF THE PANTALONES ^.^
