I live with my dear mother. Which isn't that bad. We have our fights, like when I stay out past curfew. But most of the time, we balance each other out. She's actually a really cool mom. As long as I'm home before 11:30.

My mother used to be a psychic for a living. Dad was an scientist. Then Dad died from a $1,499 Toshiba 65" Class LCD 1080p 120Hz HDTV falling out of the sky. Yup, I still remember every detail about that stupid, life-taking "flying" TV. Kinda sad, isn't it?

Anyway, Mom still has her "psychic abilities". I never really believed she was psychic, but it's pretty uncanny how she always knows what's wrong in my personal life. Like when I completely failed at asking Tessa out. I came home, all fake smiles, and the first thing she did was sit me down and ask if I wanted to talk about it. I pretended I didn't know what "it" was. She gave me this- this Mom look and I pretty much broke down. I told her everything. And at certain parts in my story, when I was exaggerating, she would look at me and say,
"I don't think that it quite right." And I would go back and correct myself.

She and Tessa's mother, Lynn, are really close. Sometimes she'll go out for wine with Mrs. McCormack, and come back telling me how "Lynn said Tessa misses talking to you," or "Lynn said that you are welcome over anytime." Pfft. Yeah, right. And Joey will get table manners. And thenI'll go live in the North Pole with Santa with some flying pigs. While Hell freezes over. Yeah. Um, no.
