In the evening, music played as several men ate and drank in the house of a man named George Louis, a thirty-nine year old British man who rather enjoyed having guests over to dine with him.

He was a light-skinned man with messy chin-length black hair that parted to frame the sides of his face. He was tall, slim, fit, and quite muscular, and possessed a thin mustache and beard. Unfortunately for him, he also possessed certain undesirable traits, such as a crooked nose, creases under his eyes, and several missing teeth, which he had lost during his time in the military.

He was eating a delectable Salisbury steak, and was about to place another morsel of it into his mouth, when Kenneth Fast, a young African-American man, walked into the house.

“It’s Kenneth Fast,” he greeted the young man as he walked into the dining room, “I assume you have it?”

Kenneth reached into his pocket and brought out a small dart. He handed it to George, and George’s eyes widened when he realized what he was holding.

This…is a poison dart…

“I have exactly what you asked for,” said Kenneth confidently as he slowly reached into his pocket.

Everyone watched as he brought out a large, glowing blue crystal and set it on the table.

“There it is!” jovially exclaimed Tim Gibson, one of the men, “Nice job, kid!”

“What happened?” asked George without looking at Kenneth. He was smiling nervously.

“Sorry,” said Kenneth with a slight smirk, “I did a little more than you asked. The guy came back to the office in the middle of the night, looking for some papers he had forgotten to take home with him. I decided to take him out from the shadows before he could see me. It’s not really a big deal. I didn’t make a scene or anything. Security probably just now discovered him lying dead on the floor.”

George continued to look away from Kenneth, and gritted his teeth as he put the poison dart in one hand and held it under the table.

Oliver Anthony was Uncle Mullen’s closest friend…

He suddenly burst into a fit of laughter. Everyone else joined him in laughing, and while they all laughed, he fiercely broke the poison dart in two.

“Gentlemen…I think this would be the perfect time to make Kenneth an official member of our organization,” said George with a smile, surprising Kenneth, “He seems to be quite…dependable.”

Kenneth observed that George had put emphasis on the word “dependable”, but did not know what he meant by it.

George’s associates had no objections to the proposition, so George stood up.

“Let’s raise a glass to this boy’s future in our organization!”

Each of the men filled their glasses up with champagne, while George poured a glass for Kenneth, and handed it to him.

“To Kenneth!” he exclaimed with a wide smile, “What would we do without the chap?”

Kenneth brought the drink to his lips, and as he gulped down the champagne, George picked up his own glass of champagne, and gulped it down even faster. When he drank it all, he smashed it down on the table, causing it to shatter into several sharp pieces. Kenneth choked on his drink in shock.

George slowly placed his hands behind his back as Kenneth looked at him. “What are you doing?” asked Kenneth in confusion.

George simply smirked at him, and showed him something he held in his hand. Kenneth looked at it slowly, and his eyes widened when he saw that George was holding a bloody piece of shattered glass. He wondered if George had cut himself when he smashed the glass, but this theory of his was proven to be unsupportable when he felt something warm run down his neck. He slowly placed his hand on his neck, and felt blood spilling out of his throat.

“I apologize,” said George with a smirk as he placed the bloody piece of glass on the table and picked up the crystal, “I thought you already knew. Death is upon you.”

What in the world?, thought Kenneth, How fast can this guy…?

Kenneth tried his best to stand up, but he ended up falling on the ground as he held his throat in pain. It did not take him long to stop breathing, but it took slightly longer for anyone to say anything.

Suddenly, everyone in the room laughed.

“That was your quickest kill yet!” exclaimed Miles Fikes, another one of the men, as he happily slapped his knee.

“Steal the crystal!” said George as his laughter died down, “That’s what I told him to do. I gave him strict orders that he was to follow with fail, but he failed. If he had been smarter, he could have stolen the crystal without killing Mr. Anthony, God rest his soul. Clearly, the fool was not suited to work with us. It is unfortunate, though; now I have to mop the floor.”

As the men laughed again, George smiled deviously as he held the glowing crystal up to his heart. “The thought of doing so hurts so much, I think I just might kill myself,” he joked, sending the men into another uproar of laughter.

George braced himself and smiled as he stabbed himself in the chest with the crystal. He did not mind the pain, though, and smiled deviously as he felt the spirit that had been contained in the crystal flow into his body.

What a crazy bastard.
