“What in the hell do you think you are doing,” He said throwing the hearts aside and walked towards me.

“Clearly being a badass,” I said to him and this I could tell made him furious. I took a step back forcefully and crossed my arms across my chest.

“You are a new vampire, they are stronger then you right now. They were here to take you back to Brent. I hope you didn’t leave any witnesses,” he said taking a cloth out of his back pocket to remove the men’s blood from his hands.

“I snapped a vampire’s neck when I walked outside the back door,” I said and he looked towards the building before using his vampire speed to get to the back door. I did the same and the vampire was no longer there. Sam cursed under his breath and turned to me.

“He’s gone which means we have to leave. You stay here while I make a call,” he commanded and I huffed. He went to walk away and I spoke up.

“Ugh! Stop telling me what to do,” I yelled towards him and he stopped in his place. Before I could blink I was pinned to the wall with my hands over my head. He was defiantly stronger then I was, there was no denying that. His face was inches from mine and he said nothing. The silence was driving me mad.

“You asked me to turn you, I did. Which means you listen to me or I will punish you for it,” his voice was rough. Something about his actions didn’t frighten me like it probably should have, it was hot and I was defiantly turned on.

I looked up into his eyes and smiled. “Kinky,” I said with a wink.

This was not me whatsoever.

He released my hands and took out his phone. I crossed my arms as he walked away and I sat on the porch. There was no moon in the sky tonight and everything was pitch back. I heard a rustle coming from alongside the building and I hopped up. I looked around for Sam but he was no were to be seen or heard so I went to investigate on my own. I walked over to the side to see what was making the noise. The leaves of the bush was moving and I kneeled in front of it.

I moved the branches apart and a tiny creature jumped at me. I looked at it and it was nothing more than a baby kitten. I stood with, I checked the gender, her in my arms and she was purring loudly. Her fur was soft and you could even mistake her for a small cheetah. She was freezing so I pulled my shirt up and around her to keep her warm.

Sam popped up behind me and when I turned to walk back to the porch I nearly smacked right into him. I growled in response but stopped when I realized who it was. “You know it’s rude to sneak up on people,” I hissed at him and walked past him. He followed me.

“What do you have,” he asked and I could see him trying to look. I kept her hidden.

“If I tell you, you have to promise I get to keep her,” I said and I could hear the hesitation.

“Sure, now tell me,” he said and I stopped when I was at the porch again.

“It’s a kitten,” I turned to him showing her sleeping in my shirt. He looked at her for a long time before looking at me.

“Where did you find her,” he asked and the tone in his voice was gentle and curious.

“A bush.”

“Strange that you would find such a rare cat in a place like that,” he said and now I was confused. “She is a F1 Female Savannah kitten. She would cost up to 35,000 dollars if you bought one and she will get two and a half times bigger than a regular house cat,” he said and I gave him a look.

“How do you know so much about cats,” I asked with a smile on my face and he shrugged.

“Cat person,” he answered casually and I laughed. “But back to more concerning matters, my car is parked down the road from here and we are heading to my place,” he said and started walking down the road. I jogged up next to him and walked casually when we were side by side.

“You actually live somewhere,” I teased. “I thought your life revolved around stalking me,” he chuckled and shook his head.

“World doesn’t revolve around you darling,” he said.

“Your world seems to now,” I said and he rose his eyebrow at me.

“You have a thing or two yet to learn,” he said as we walked to his car. It was a big black hummer just like Darion had. The rims were shiny and big. The tires were defiantly huge and the windows weren’t just tinted they were completely black.

“You know Darion has the same car,” I said to him and he looked at me with his brow raised.

“Please, his piece of crap was nothing but a toy. Mine is custom from the inside out.” He said and I nodded impressed. I opened the door to passenger side and a purple light lit up on the step for me to hop inside. The seat was made of black leather and under it there was also a purple light illuminating the floor. She was a beauty.

I got in the seat and shut the door, he started up the vehicle and it started up smoothly. I felt the kitten nudging me and I looked down. She was now fully awake and trying to climb my body to look out the window. I allowed her to look out.

“Kala,” I said and she instantly looked at me with bright eyes. They were glowing golden eyes just as mine were and she gave a very soft and adorable meow.

“What,” Sam asked as I snapped back into reality.

“Oh, that’s what I am going to name her,” I said and he nodded. We drove the rest of the way in silence. I played with Kala until she was worn out and once again passed out on me.

Sam growled under his breath and I looked up at the road. There were several people standing in the middle of the road in all black. We stopped abruptly in the road and I put Kala down in the back seat. “Stay here,” He said.

“But.” I said but before I could finish he growled and looked at me. His eyes were red and I decided to let it go. He got out of the car and shut it hard behind him. I couldn’t hear anything but I watched him approach them. There were maybe 10 of them but as I started to look around more I could see others in the distance. Nervously I watched Sam as he yelled at them from what I could tell. Things escalated quickly because one second they were come and they next it was a huge fight.

I itched to go out but his words bound me in my seat. He killed a few before one was on each of his arms and another was holding on to his head.

Crap, they are going to kill him.

I got out of the car and ran to them, they all froze to stare at me. “Let him go,” I said and they started to laugh at my bravery. I felt some of the rage build up inside me for how much I hated when people laughed at me. I looked at Sam and I could see him fighting to free himself, when he looked at me he mouthed the words ‘Run’ but I wasn’t going to leave him. I stood my ground and glared at them.

“You must be what the boss wants,” said one of them. I wasn’t sure who because nearly all of them was impossible to see with the hoods over their heads. One of them finally stepped towards me and removed the hood. He was an African American man with blue eyes. He stood about 6 foot tall and his gaze was frightening. He had a deathly smile on his face and hunger in his eyes.

“And you let a human boss you around. How pathetic,” I said with a smirk and the sarcasm seemed to piss him off. His face was no longer smiling but now his nose was wrinkled up and he was baring his teeth at me. I chuckled.

“No human commands me. I volunteered to find the girl he wanted and rip her throat out,” he growled.

“Well why are you spending all this time talking to me instead of doing it, let him go and be a man about it,” I said and this angered him more.

Good job Rain, anger the powerful vampire.

“We have him for other reasons, not because of you.” He barked and I gave him a seductive smile.

“Well I said let him go, you don’t want to make me embarrass you in front of your friends do you,” I asked.

What am I saying!!

“Now come at me like a good little vampire instead of hiding like a coward behind you henchmen. I watched you in the car, you’re scared to fight,” I said and I could feel adrenaline pump through my body. Not in a million years would I talk to someone like this when they could kill me. I was be knocking my knees and begging for mercy.

He didn’t respond because I hit him right where it hurt, shooting down his pride. He ran at me and like on the building everything went in slow motion. He lunged for my throat but I moved out of the way and he turned quickly to lock on his target.

How the hell am I doing this, I don’t fight.

He was angrier then when he aimed the first time because I just made him look like a fool because he missed. I swallowed hard. Things were about to get nasty. I hadn’t heard Sam yelling in the background but I ignored it. The second time he came at me I latched on to his head and started to pull. I could hear the ripping of skin detaching piece by piece. It happened in a second but to me it felt like minutes. I dropped his head on the ground and I heard the body hit as well.

Holy crap.

I looked up at the other vampires and they were angry. I had just killed their leader and now they really wanted my blood. They no longer cared about Sam, I was there main target now. The men holding Sam were the only ones that didn’t run for me. I fought the best I could but the strength that I somehow possessed with killing the leader had for some reason vanished. I killed one vampire before I was stuck in the same situation as Sam.

While everyone was focused on me Sam had managed to get free and killed the men that were holding him still. He ripped out their hearts as he had done to the ones before. One by one he murdered the savage vampires before there were nothing left but hearts detached from their bodies. The ground was covered in blood and for some reason Sam had remained clean other than his hands.

“You should have stayed in the car, I had it handled,” he said walking back to the car. I walked to my side and we got in.

“Why can’t you just be thankful that I helped, even if it was a stupid idea I still gave you time to free yourself,” I said and he started driving again.

“You could have been killed,” he said harshly without looking at me.

“But I wasn’t,” I said to him angrily.

“If you don’t stop talking I am going to throw you in the trunk,” he said and I looked at him shocked.

“You wouldn’t,” I said and this time he looked at me smiling.

“Try me,” he said and I closed my mouth. We pulled up to an abandoned warehouse and I looked at him in confusion.

“You live here,” I asked as I looked it over. The walls were covered in graffiti and not to mention the giant hole on the side of the building.

“No there is a shed in the back,”

“You live in a shed!” I said in shock and he sighed.

“Would you let me finish,” He asked me and I nodded.

“In the shed there is an underground passage and that is where I live,” he said and I finally smiled.

“That’s awesome,” I said and he finally stopped looking mad and smiled. We got out of the car and I picked up Kala as we walked to the shed that he mentioned. When we walked inside I started looking around on the ground for some kind of door. I frowned and looked at Sam as he pushed on a piece of the wall. The ground lifted up revealing a set of stairs.

Sweet.

We walked down until we were met by a door at the end of the steps. He pulled out a set of keys and unlocked it. When he opened the door he waited for me to enter. “After you,” he said and I stepped through thanking him. The lights came and I was surprised by the sight. It didn’t look like something that was under the ground. It actually look like a small cozy home. There was a

grey couch in front of an entertainment center with a flat screen TV. The place didn’t look expensive or anything. It just looked normal.

I put Kala on the couch and she was still sleeping. She could sleep through anything. Sam looked at me and smiled. “Let’s go to the room,” he said and I followed as he led the way. We walked into his room and a giant bed was in the middle. I looked at him.

“Why do you need a bed if you sleep in a coffin,” I asked and his made him smile.

“The bed isn’t for sleeping,” he said and at first I didn’t understand what he was talking about. Then it hit me.

“Why don’t you sleep in a bed by the way,” I said changing the subject.

“They keep the sun out,” he said and I nodded finally understanding why they used them. “Now go to the bed,” he commanded.

“Why,” I asked not moving.

“Follow my orders,” he snapped and I found myself walking over to the bed. Something about his commands were starting to get to me. “Face the bed and bend over,” he said and I did as he said.

“Why do you want me to do this,” I asked and my answer didn’t come in words. Pain struck my ass and in shock I went to stand and look at him. He used his other hand to hold me down and slapped my ass again. The pain came but so did a different feeling. I felt pleasure in the pain and found myself enjoying it. He stopped spanking me and was now on top of me. He started to kiss my jaw and pleasure went through my entire body. He roughly kissed my neck next before he went under my shirt to cup my breast. He used his thumb and index finger to caress the most sensitive part of them.

I moaned at the touch and I could feel his hard crotch and I began to bite my lip. He got off of me and stood up, I felt as if I was out of breath and I sat on the bed looking at him. “What was that,” I asked and he smiled.

“What part,” he asked and I thought back to the pain and how I enjoyed it.

Something’s wrong with me.

“Is there something wrong with me,” I asked and I felt dirt. He shook his head and kneeled in front of me. He grasped my chin in his hand and lifted my face to his. His eyes looked deep into mine.

“There isn’t anything wrong with you, it’s normal,” he said. “What’s normal about enjoying someone hit me.” I said and his expression hardened.

“I would never hit you or do anything to hurt you,” he said and his expression softened. “I spanked you for pleasure and if I thought you wouldn’t have liked it I wouldn’t have done it,” he added.

“What makes you think I liked it,” I said and a smile crept across his face.

“Because I’m never wrong,” he said and then he kissed me. This one wasn’t like the first one, our lips parted and our tongues met each other for the first time. When we detached from one another the feeling still lingered. “Time for bed,” he said and he got up. He took off everything except his boxers and I did the same. I was left in my underwear and bra and we crawled into bed. He pulled me against his body and I put my head on his chest.

He stroked through my hair and I became tired very quickly. Before I could sleep thoughts overwhelmed me. Sam was passed out long before I was but it wasn’t long before I couldn’t take being awake anymore. I let the arms of sleep take me in and I slept better than I ever had.
