Okay, so I realize that this is probably a stupid idea, but I feel like if I don’t start talking to someone I am going to scream, which, I am sure, would not help the situation. But, then again, for all I know this stupid notebook could be some sort of magical notebook that automatically reads all of its contents aloud each time it is opened. Yeah, that sounds like it would be my luck at the moment.
So, I know that this is going to sound crazy, and I am sure that if I hadn’t seen the proof myself I would think the same thing. But, I have been kidnapped. Brace yourself, though, because that is not the crazy part. The people who kidnapped me are vampires. They came in the middle of the night and just walked into the house, up the stairs, and into my room as if they weren’t worried about getting caught. They didn’t even bother with restraints, knowing that they were stronger than me. They did, however, put a gag into my mouth to keep me quiet.
I was taken to a black truck that was parked outside my house and they sat me between two of them in the back seat. I don’t know if they did something to me, or if it was just pure exhaustion, but after one or two hours of riding, I fell asleep. I don’t know how long we drove but when they woke me up to get out of the car, it appeared to be late morning.
By this point I knew better than to try to escape, so I just walked willingly between two of them. I know that it looks like a stupid idea, but I figured that if I didn’t try to run or anything like that, they wouldn’t hurt me. My instincts were right.
They just led me into a house, or rather, a mansion and into a bedroom on the upper floor. No one was in it when they brought me, and no one has come yet, but I know that someone will be coming soon. I am unsure, however, of who it is. Though, I do have a slight idea of what they want. I mean, hello, they are vampires. Think real hard here.
But, it’s not as glamorous as it may seem. I do not actually have the whole room to move around in. There is a jail-like cell in here, which is where I am placed. The cell is literally like something you would see on one of those police shows. It has a bed that is hanging from the wall and nothing else. Though, there is one difference. There is no open bathroom, thank heavens. It actually is in a little room that connects with one of the walls.
After bringing me in here, the two that escorted me locked the door, told me that I was probably safer in here anyway, and left. I had little to do but look around and think, so I examined the room, which is how I found you.
The bedroom is quite large and the wall adjourned by my cell is just a huge bookcase. Literally hundreds of books, varying in age and condition, are on here. The whole place seems to be scholarly. There is a large desk on the other side of the room, and the bed looks to be fit for a king. This all gets me curious about who exactly lives here, but I don’t want to think about it just yet. I am sure I will find out everything eventually.
But I found you, little notebook, on the corner of the shelf closest to me. I just could reach you, and I was ever so thankful to find you had nothing written in you. There was a cup of pens sitting on the shelf as well, so I borrowed one (more like kept and am intending on keeping until further notice).
But, I hear someone coming and I fear what they would do if they found me writing my deepest thoughts in their property, though I guess I could technically be considered their property, now, as well. Hopefully they won’t find you under my pillow.
Goodbye for now,
