"You can't keep running away for ever" said Ronnie as we walked in the hallway "Damon is always gonna be around especially in my birthday party tonight".
"Well maybe I shouldn't come" I said as she glared at me.
"Summer, I only turn 16 once" said Ronnie "I only have one sweet sixteen and you're not gonna miss it because of my stupid brother".
I sighed and nodded "I'll come and I'll bring Cash with me and we'll have a great night because you turned sixteen".
"I'll never get used to the sound of that" said Ronnie as I smiled at her but my smile fell when I saw Raymond walking with Jessica towards us.
"Uh oh" I said trying to move away from that place but it was too late cause Jessica and Raymond were already here. Raymond looked like he really didn't want to be there while Jessica looked like she was having the time of her life.
"Hey Ronnie, hey Summer" said Jessica smiling "Ronnie, your birthday party is tonight right?".
"Yeah" said Ronnie nervously.
"Well, me and Raymond have decided to announce something to your parents in the party" said Jessica grinning from ear to ear while Raymond tried to avoid looking at me as much as he can "I'm pregnant".
It's pretty much normal that I'd feel surprised or angry or betrayed but I didn't…. what I felt at that moment was way worse than any of them, it was that feeling when you pray that you're just having a nightmare and you keep waiting for yourself to wake up but you don't.
"Fuck" was all Ronnie said before pulling me from my arm and walking away from them.
"She's going to ruin my party" said Ronnie spacing in her room as I sat on her bed watching her "She did all this just to ruin my party".
"She got pregnant to ruin your party?" I asked confused.
"Yes" she yelled "That bitch is so evil".
"Calm down Ronnie" I said standing up "Jessica can't ruin the party no matter what, your brother is going to stop her".
"Seriously Summer" yelled Ronnie "Raymond keeps proving that he's a bad guy and you can't stop crushing on him???".
I stayed silent for a second "I didn't mean it like that….. Raymond's a coward, he's not gonna tell your parents"
"Are you sure?" she said no, I'm not sure about anything lately.
"Of course" I said smiling as she smiled too.
I stood with Ronnie and Olivia in Ronnie's room dressed in our amazing dresses.
"Wow" said Ronnie "We look hot".
"I know" said Olivia giving Ronnie a high five as I smiled at both of them.
"I'm going to get a glass of water" I said walking out of her room and down the stairs to bump into Raymond's chest.
"Seriously Ronnie watch where…. Summer" said Raymond looking at me surprised "I hardly recognized you"I didn't say anything just walked right pass him but of course Raymond never settles with that.
"I know you're upset" he said following me into the kitchen "I said some pretty harsh things, I should've letting you down easy".
"It doesn't matter Raymond, you still let me down" I said trying my best not to cry "And I'm fine with that because frankly you turned out to be someone so different than I expected…. Much worse".
"No Summer" he argued "I'm still the same guy but I just…. Me and you are never going to be together and you have to accept that".
"I am" I said before Olivia walked in the kitchen and stopped once she saw us together.
"Oh sorry" said Olivia "I didn't mean to-".
"It's fine" interrupted Raymond "I was just leaving to pick Jessica up anyway".
Olivia nodded while Raymond walked out the kitchen.
"What was that all about?" said Olivia confused.
"Raymond being Raymond" I said while she smiled and the doorbell rang.
"Are we waiting for someone?" said Olivia confused as I shook my head.
"Raymond must've forgot his keys or something" I said as she nodded "Go open to him".
She walked out the kitchen while I gazed at my reflection at the kitchen's window glass than suddenly I heard Ronnie's scream.
I quickly ran to the living room and there was no accidents, no bleeding, no ghosts just Landon standing there and hugging Ronnie.
They both pulled out of the hug and looked at me.
My crush, my boyfriend, my ex in one place and in one night.
