It was a normal day. I sat at the dinner table with my family ready to eat what little food we had. My mom sat a chicken on the table, it was small, but it still looked great. My dad took the thighs, my oldest sister Guen took the legs, my other older sister Heather took a breast and so did my mom. I took the underside which usually dosen't have much. It still satisfied my hunger.

We had 2 pets, my cat Lj and my dads dog Boxer. They go and get their own food from other peoples garbage. If we fed them then we wouldn't have anything for us. Right now its winter, so Lj doesn't get much food, I've noticed hes getting thin. I picked a peice if chicken off for him, and when my dad wasn't looking, I threw it to him. He grabed it and growled, which made my dad look.

"Did you just feed that cat?" He asked.

"Yes but-"

"I worked to feed you that and you give it to your damn cat?"

"Yes but-"
