The Answer

A moment so surreal,
As life seems so cruel.
Time ticks by,
Letting out a sigh.
Waiting for an answer,
Can it truly be cancer?
What to do from here,
The future so unclear.
Not ready for your final flight,
Please give it a hell of a fight.
A single tear falls,
When comes the call.
Yes, it is true,
For I will pray for you.
God has only committed this treason,
For He has a higher reason.
Try not to be sad,
You'll always be my Dad.
