“Here we are,” he said.

There were a couple of couches around the room, but other than that, not much. But all in all, a good place to sleep.

“I’ve used it a couple of times,” he said.

“But you’re not a senior.”

“Junior, senior, what’s the difference?”

I just laughed.

He was looking really hot right now. The way his hair was falling over his face and his cute little grin was making him pretty irresistible.

He slowly walked over to me. He reached out and tucked a piece of hair behind my ear, letting his hand rest on my cheek. He then let his hand slide down my body to my waist. He put his other arm around me and pulled me closer to him, pressing his body against mine. I put my hands on his chest and stared at him. He was so hot, but he was also Tyler Cruz. I knew what was about to happen, did I want it to happen? I wasn’t sure. What I did know was that the way he was looking at me was making it a little hard to breathe. He leaned his head closer to mine, and pressed his lips to mine. The sudden rush of desire surprised me, and I found myself kissing him back passionately.

He let his hands flutter down to my butt, and started feeling it up. He then gripped it, and picked me up. I instinctively wrapped my legs around his waist, and he carried me over to one of the couches. He laid me down and slid on top of me, breaking away from me momentarily to smile.

“You’re so hot,” he said.

In reply to this, I snaked my arm around his neck and pulled him back down to me. He pulled my shirt up, exposing my belly. He began to touch my stomach, and then slipped his hands up my back. I arched my back against him. He broke away from kissing me and began kissing down my neck. I let my head fall back against the couch and stared up at the ceiling. All of the sudden my phone vibrated again. Ignoring it, I pulled Tyler back up to me and began kissing him again.

He broke apart from me suddenly, staring down at me. “Will you go out with me, Alex?”

“W-what?” I asked, shocked.

“Will you go out with me? Will you be my girlfriend?”

I didn’t even have to think. “Yes, of course.”

He smiled, and then crushed his mouth to mine again.

About an hour later I walked out of the school after saying by to Tyler. My hair was messy and my lips were swollen from all the kissing, but I was on top of the world. The good feeling stopped, however, when I saw Peter’s car sitting in the parking lot, still waiting.

“Shit,” I muttered. I had completely forgotten about Peter. Glancing at my phone I saw that I had four missed calls and ten text messages. I jogged over to the car and knocked on the passenger seat’s window, waiting for him to unlock it. When he did, I climbed in. “I’m so sorry, Peter.”

“What took you so long?” he asked, obviously pissed off.

“I kind of ended up making out with Tyler Cruz in the senior lounge.”

That was obviously not what he was expecting. “What?”

“Yeah, it kind of took me by surprise, too. But he asked me out and I said yes!”

“He did what?”

“Asked me out!”

“You’re going out with Tyler?”

“Whoa,” he said, leaning back in his seat and absorbing the information.

“Isn’t this great?” I said excitedly.

“I mean, yeah, it’s great, but I’m just surprised.”

“I’m going out with Tyler!”

“So do you like him now?”

“Alex! You’re going out with Tyler!”

I giggled and leaned into him as he wrapped me into his arms.

I had been dating Tyler for a month now, and I can now say with confidence that he is absolutely amazing. And right now as I lay snuggled against him with my head on his chest watching a movie in his room, I can say that I am happy. I have the boyfriend I never needed but always wanted. Nothing at home has changed, nor will it ever, but at least I have Tyler to get me through the day.

The Monday we came back to school after that one unforgettable Friday, we got more than a couple stares as we walked down the hall hand in hand, smiling happily at each other.

“Hey, babe, I’m going to go get a Coke, you want one?” Tyler asked, sliding off the bed. I instantly missed the feeling of my head against his chest.

“Nah, I’m good,” I said, wrapping myself in a blanket.

He went to the end of the bed, completely blocking the screen, reached up under the covers, and started tickling my feet.

“No! Stop!” I squealed as I squirmed out of his reach.

He jumped on top of me and pinned me down.

“Please,” I wheezed, “don’t tickle me.”

He narrowed his eyes and gave me a devilish grin. He let go of my wrists, which he had been holding, and started to goose me.

“No!” I squealed, trying to get him off me. I squirmed around.

“I got you now!” he said.

At the last possible second when I couldn’t take it any longer, he let go.

I lay on the bed breathing hard, the bed sheets rumpled.

He then gave me another smile and went to go get his Coke.

After that first day, I thought that Tyler might want to do a lot of physical things, but he hadn’t. All we did is kiss, and so far he hadn’t pressured me once. I felt happy in this relationship, and I hoped that it lasted a long time.

Just then my phone started ringing.

“Alex!” Peter said.

“Hey, what’s up?”

“Where are you?”

“Tyler’s house, why?”

“Oh, nothing, I was just wondering. Any new news?”

“Not really,” I said, glancing back at the movie.

“Nope. What about you?”

“Um, well, I kind of found out that Celina just started going out with this other guy.”

I sat straight up in the bed and said, “What?”

“Since when? I thought you guys were going to go out for sure!”

“Yeah, I thought so too. And I just found out today.”

“Oh my goodness. I’m so sorry, Peter. Do you want me to come over or something?”

“Well, I don’t want to take you away from Tyler.”

“Don’t be stupid, you’re my best friend. Plus, I’m always with Tyler anyway.”

“I really don’t want to cause any problems between you two.”

“He’s not like that! You know that, Peter. He’ll understand.”

“Okay…if you’re sure.”

“Of course I’m sure!”

“Do you want me to come pick you up?”

“Yeah, that’d be nice.”

“Okay, see you in a couple minutes.”

“See ya.”

I hung up right as Tyler walked back in.

“Hey, babe?” I said.

“I’m going to have to leave early.”

“Peter’s having a mini-crisis and I have to be there for him.”

“Aw, well I hate for you to leave, but okay. Do you want me to give you a ride or something?” he asked, pulling me into a hug.

“No, Peter’s going to come pick me up,” I said into his chest.

“Well then let’s make the most of our last couple of minutes together,” he said grinning. He pulled away slightly and put his hand under my chin, tilting my head back. He slowly pressed his mouth to mine. I wound my hands around his neck and started playing with his hair. I moved my mouth against his and kissed him back. He wrapped his other arm around my waist and pressed me forcefully against his body. I could feel…certain parts hardening, but I paid no attention as I continued to kiss him. He groaned into my mouth, surprising me. He pushed me against him harder and let go of my chin to wrap his arm around my waist. He was squeezing me against him so hard that I could hardly breathe, but I was lost in the kiss.

Suddenly my phone vibrated, signaling that Peter was here. I unwound my arms from around Tyler’s neck and tried to step back. He held me in his arms for another second, leaning back down and giving me another passionate kiss, and then let me go. I picked up my jacket and phone, and then gave him another peck, walking out into the hall. I walked down the stairs and out the door where Peter was waiting for me in his car. Climbing in, I leaned over and gave Peter a hug.
