Booty Call

Isabella’s P.O.V

By the time Kate left it was about 6 something, it was still bright out. I thought about going for a jog. I was slacking on my exercising lately.

I may not show my body of to the world, but I do like to stay in shape.

My mom came in and flopped on the couch sighing. “I need friends and a boyfriend.”

“You had friends in New York.” I stated going towards the sofa I was sitting on. Still warm.

“So, were not in New York. I need friends here. And I want a boyfriend.” She said standing up and sitting next to me. “Do you know how long its been since I had a boyfriend?” She squeezed behind me and started playing with my hair, braiding it and whatnot. “I haven’t had sex in ages” she sighed.

I pulled my hair from out of her reach. “Ok mom I did NOT need to know about that.” I stood up from between her legs forcing myself to move from my comfortable warm spot she had now token over. Be glad bitch, be very appreciative. I sent her my famous glare then sat in her awfully cold spot.

She sat up on her need waving her hands around. “What!? That’s why I need friends… I can’t come from a booty call and gloat about to my 17 year old daughter.” She sighed grabbing her phone from her pocket.

I grabbed the pillow and buried my face in it. “Mom, I don’t want to hear this. I’m not about to sit here and listen to my 30 year old mother talk about sex and booty calls.” I paused realizing something. “How even calls it a “booty call” anymore? Mom its 2014. Today we humans call it a one night stand or friends with benefits.”

“And how do you human know about that?” She sat her phone down raising her eyebrow.

“Mom…” I sighed rubbing my heated face.

She threw a pillow at me. “You lost your virginity!” she stood up from the couch and came and sat next to me.

“Wh… mom I did n…” I was cut short by her jumping up and down on the couch cheering! What the actual fuck is going on here?

“I told Helena you were different! I knew it; oh I knew my daughter was normal.” She sighed calming down. “She said you were an odd teenager because you never went out, asked to go out, or even snuck out.”

“Mom!” I yelled annoyed. But she just kept on blabbing.

“Ok, we all thought you were odd.” She admitted throwing her hands up. “We had a bet, nothing major, just $50 bucks. We all thought you were a lesbian or something. This reminds me, those bitches need to wire my money.”

“What the hell! Can you jus…” she put her finger up and looked at me.

“How come you never told me? I thought we told each other everything.” She said sitting back down next to me. “Was it a booty call…? I mean one night stand?”

“Mom!” I hissed annoyed. “I didn’t n…”

“It’s ok, I won’t judge. I promise” she said. “You know, you came out of a one night stand. And it was the best night of my life, let me tell you we ha…”

“Mom! I don’t want to hear about your sex life and I did not have a booty call or a one night stand! I’m a virgin for crying out loud. And I am not a lesbian!” I yelled all out in one huff. “Wait… you told me he left as soon as he found out you were pregnant.” I said staring at her.

“Oh I did didn’t I… well I lied.” She said shrugging.

“Mom!” I sighed.

“What! Sue me ok. I was young wild and horny… you know, the complete opposite of you. All I wanted to do was have fun. But I do remember his name… well first name. John…” She said standing up. “I may have made a lot of mistakes when I was your age, but having you was the best thing in my entire life. And I’d have a million more one night stands with John if in return to have you all over again.”

“Aw, that’s sort of sweet… in a weird way, buy sweet.” I said smiling at her. She scooted over next to me and gave me a side hug, squeezing the life out of me. “Ok now… can’t breathe.” I barely whispered pushing her away by her head.

“We should hang out” She said letting me go and standing up.

“We hang out every day. If you haven’t noticed, I never leave the house unless I really have to.” I pointed out.

“No, let’s go to the movies or shopping…” She said then looked me up and down. “I vote shopping”

“But a movie does sound nice” I said

“No, I insist on going shopping. Plus you have school tomorrow. You need a new wardrobe and I need some things of my own.” She said. “This reminds me… I need some suits or whatever those office people wear. I have a job interview tomorrow.”

“When did you go job hunting?” I asked.

“I didn’t go job hunting; job went hunting me… ha-ha you get it, because I was actually rec…” I cut her off sighing

“I get it” I said rolling my eyes. Gosh, sometimes I feel like the grown up here.

“Oh! You should ask Kate if she wants to come with us.” She said jumping up.

“She just left” I sighed running my hand threw my hair.

“So…” She said staring at me.

“You just want her to your personal GPS don’t you” I said glaring at her.

“If she’s up for the job… then yes.” She said then walked towards stairs. “Go get her for me, thanks love” She ran up the stairs.

“I will not!” I yelled after her.

“Yes you will!” She yelled then shut her door.

Great… Just great.

Kate’s P.O.V

“Mom, I just left. If I go back now, she’ll think I’m a weirdo with no life.” I sighed trying to go to my room. But she just kept blocking my way. “Mom”

“You are a weirdo with no life” She said casually.

“What. Mom!” I said offended.

“What? I meant it in a good way… you know, like a good weird with no life and no real friends” She said

“Oh wow. That makes me feel so much better. Way to shine some light on your words mother.” I said stepping past her.

“I’m sorry!” She yelled as soon as I made my way to my room. I closed my door and locked it. If I didn’t, she’d just come in here and try to have another “talk” about me being a loner.

I sat on my bed and sighed.

Maybe she’s right, all I ever do is eat, sleep, shower, read, go to school, come home and repeat.

I didn’t really have any friends since the whole fake Mother Nature incident in front of basically the entire school.
For crying out loud, I was nicknamed Bloody Mary by everyone.

Nobody wanted to be seen with the girl who “started” her “Period” in front of a Winchester.

She is right. Isabella is exactly what I need right now.

I walked out my bedroom and ran downstairs.

“I’m always right” My mom said from the couch.

“Yeah yeah” I waved her off and opened the door, surprisingly, Isabella was right there.

“Hey, I know you just left. But I was wondering if you wanted to go shopping with me and my mom.” She said rubbing the side of her face. “I mean I totally get it if you don’t want to”

“Say yes!” I heard my mom yell whisper.

“I actually don’t mind.” I said smiling.

“Great” She said clapping her hands together. “I mean that’s cool” she said looking back.
