They first met on a rainy day.  Daniel was soaked, so Jennifer offered him a handkerchief.  when Daniel ran away, she got upset, when Daniel met her, he fell in love. They were in the same class for 2 years. Day after day, Daniel wants to talk to her. What will he do?   Now the story begins.

The beginning of the year in 12th grade.  Daniel has always been a fast runner, he loves to run, feel the breeze in his hair.  Just like that rainy day.  Daniel always wanted to confess to Jennifer.  How did she feel about him?  Her handkerchief is wrapped around his bag. He couldn't leave without it.  It reminds him of the image he could never forget.

He arrived at school too early.  He sat in the halls looking at the handkerchief tied to his bag strap.  Daniel started to smile, staring at the soft handkerchief he got from her.  \"But she probally forgot about it...\"  He thought.  He got up and started walking.  He felt a tug on his arm.  He turned around.

There she was, Jennifer, his two-year crush, standing there.  \"That handkerchief...isn't that mine?\" Said Jennifer.

Daniel stood there.  She was touching him!  \"Y-yes...\"  Daniel said, embarrased by his slow response.

Jennifer herself was surprised.  He was finally talking to her!  \"Umm, can I have it back?  I kind of need it.\"

Daniel rushed and took off the handkerchief from his backpack. He was about to hand it to Jennifer, but he paused. Was he really going to let his memory go?

Daniel just stood there, handkerchief in his hand. Jennifer got tired of waiting. She slowly took the handkerchief out of his hand. Daniel was embarrassed again, he left her waiting! \"Bye-bye,\". Said Jennifer kindly. She tuned around and started walking. Daniel stood there, staring at his empty hand. He turned around and took a deep breath. He faced the direction she was walking, and spoke up.

\"Umm, if it's no bother, can I please keep it?\". Asked Daniel, cheeks red, voice shaking. What an awkward way to ask... Jennifer turned around. When she saw Daniel blushing and all, she couldn't help but laugh. So there she was, laughing, while Daniel kept fidgeting, wondering what was so funny.

\"So he was just shy?\" Thought Jennifer, still giggling. She turned and walked up to him. Daniel was still standing there, feeling awkward. \"No biggie, you can have it, here!\". Sade Jennifer placing the handkerchief in his hand.

Daniel looked at the handkerchief. He really did it! It's his now! He gave her a warm smile. \"Thank you!\". He said. He turned again and ran away, feeling embarrassed. He did speak pretty loud.

Jennifer stood there. \"huh...?\". Thought Jennifer. \"Did my heart just...\". She turned around ignoring the feeling. She walked away.
